You probably all know this already but it was news to me, that in the variant shop the 1200 gold cards are exclusive to the shop, and the 700 gold ones can be found in collectors reserves. I didn't. I do know that shit variants are all it wants to give me from Collectors Reserves instead of some actual new cards. Taking forever to fill out Pool 3. |

I bought this Dino bundle for gold, the card look cool and upgraded it to infinity. Then splurged on my controlsera deck to get all but 3 to infinity. Just armour and Sera left on ultra with Mysterio on legendary. Still have 2k credits left but not enough boosters It's all so colourful 🪅 and sparkly Managed to secure patriot and an onslaugh pixel variant from the reserves. Onslaught is a bit toss but finally, patriot! After some more wins and upgrading and getting lots of credits from reserves, I now have patriot, green goblin, rescue & beast + warpath and onslaught variants. Warpath is cool, like a luchador(sp?) Not a bad haul. |

Interesting video about first turn snapping - hope he does more snapping mechanic videos as we need those more than other type of snap videos IMHO.

Had the survey Google thing on for last day and not had anything come through. Is that just the way it goes? I've checked and location history is on etc..... have they started dropping through yet? It's been a few years since I started but I think they start slow. I'm up to £4.86 for January with like 8 or 9 surveys so the battlepass is going to be cheap again |

Was worried there was an issue with my location settings but all seemed OK. Just had a survey this morning after going to a shop yesterday. So must all be fine and as you say maybe starting slow. The new year event has started..get a free sword master variant, the jubilee one (which I think looks great) is less than a fiver including some gold and credits.
Quite tempted, I used to always scoff at live service temptations but this game has me by the balls, I've so far only bought the captain America welcome pack thing but creaking under pressure to buy these shiny versions of cards I don't use for my imaginary card collection.

Just so you know, the welcome pack thingy is standard predatory monetization tactic 101 to get you to make the first purchase by dangling insane value. They know once they break down that initial barrier, subsequent purchases are more likely to happen. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it or that I, myself, haven't already thrown $$$ at this game. Just that you should be aware of the fact. |

Usually, she is in decks with beefy power swingers and can summon cards that normally have play restrictions like Giganto or Infinaut. |

You can also use Odin to re-trigger her, or play her onto Lockjaw for RNG comedy value.

I’ve just gone five wins in a row with a trash deck I threw together of two and three cost cards only; just to clear the last Season Pass and Daily mission I had. Almost any deck really can have it a day in this.  |

The $5 bundle is great value compared to other non-token bundles. Let's hope enough people buy them that it incentivizes Second Dinner to put out more similarly priced bundles.

I admit I was close to the 4000 gold mark I needed for the Dino bundle so finally stumped up for the welcome pack to cross the line. That Savage Land artwork is just too epic to pass up.

I downloaded the Google Rewards app the other day, today it had a couple of questions about a Marvel Snap video I watched. Took about ten seconds and I got 29p credit. Not bad, if the surveys keep coming like this it should cover most of the cost of a bundle or season pass.

I just got beaten by someone who played no cards until turn 6 (of 7, Limbo was one of the locations) and then played Galactus followed by Giganto.
Made me wonder if the game would have ended on turn 6 if Limbo had been destroyed. I assume so, that’s what happens if you do Scarlet Witch or Storm on Limbo on turn 6. If it looks like that’s happening again I’ll have to remember to beef up that location anyway.

I really need to mix it up I think. Been hovering around level 40 with my devil Dino/ on going deck. Just got patriot so made a deck around that and I am now up to the dizzy heights of 50.

I often find when I make a new deck, I do really well with it for a short while, then start to stagnate a little. I also find if I make a deck of semi-random cards, with a few pairings, I fair quite well too.
I think it might be because at first I am more focussed on playing the cards as they come, reacting to the other player and the locations. Once I know the deck more, I shift more to trying to play for the big combos. When they pay of they can be glorious, but too often I end up chasing potential outcomes that fail to materialise.
Like in poker, if the stakes are low and it's not costing to see another card, it's OK to chase for a straight or flush, but you need to know when to fold - loosing at two locations and needing to draw that one magic card to turn the game around but the opponent snaps should result in a retreat, but the temptation is always there to play on. Especially as really it doesn't cost anything of real value if you loose. I do wonder how my win/loose ratio might change if money was involved.
