What's the recommended products to clean a TV screen with these days, popular choices seem to be a 50:50 water vinegar solution or just water with a tiny bit of washing up liquid + a microfiber cloth. Our month old TV is already covered in some shit the idiots have smeared all over the screen FFS, evidently Mrs Mercury has been using glass cleaner since forever.

Is it oled or lcd. You can be slightly more aggressive if its an oled as its glass but still nothing more than a very mild soap solution. Anything more than that and you risk damaging the anti glare coating etc.

Avoid greasy spots being visible by rubbing an even coating of grease all over the screen

Use the angle grinder on your kids and that'll learn 'em to keep their sticky mitts off the TV screen.

Doesn't matter how much you clean it, you'll always see the smudge when the sun's out. Admit it now, and buy a new TV.

The only way to avoid greasy marks on the screen is to make everyone in the house wear snooker referee gloves.
I use 'screen mom' and the microfiber cloth, despite the name it's good. Don't use anything with loads of chemicals in.

A microfiber cloth should sort everything out. Just don't press too hard

I bought some after reading recommendations on avforums. It resolved some bad smears that I couldn't otherwise remove after my girlfriend's mum used window cleaner on it.

Virgin's tears spray and a Javan Rhino chamois. Where are the tears from? Facial or vaginal ducts?

Then when you sit down and the sun catches the screen from a different angle you can do it all again! AND then your son will come into the room and rub his hands all over the screen, now you can do it ALL AGAIN! Then you just give up.
