I’ve followed Seattle since 1984 and keep seeing Twitter people and YouTube people saying how scarily good they’ll be this year I replied to say they’ll be just above average, probably make the playoffs and exit with a whimper - fans don’t like a dose of reality as they go insane when they hear someone with an opinion that differs from theirs “THIS MAN DOES NOT KNOW BALL!!!!”  |

I've quite enjoyed the return of the Octobox, and some cagey affairs and close calls to start off the season. Pack in control against the Bears for once, and look pretty handy, but need a tougher test.
49ers breezing past a still floundering Steelers, and the Colts/Jags was entertaining during the early kickoffs. Dolphins/Chargers is pretty good now too, the big scorer so far of the weekend.

Funny thing. I subscribed to Redzone last year and completely forgot I still had it until after all the games were over. At least I remembered in time for next week. |

Rams are very well coached, everyone knows their job and does it well Seattle swept them last year but McVay came out of it all the credit as they were super close games when Seattle were supposed to be ballin and LAR had no QB Now Stafford is back I think they might finish 2nd in the division behind the Niners Seahawks on the other hand are terrible, they’ve relied on flashy plays for too long and don’t have the fundamentals of a good football team |

Just saw the news. I honestly don't think he'll be too upset about it, is that cynical of me ?  Still sucks, would've been interesting to see what happened if he played the season, especially after the win. |

I think its a shame given the hype around it all pre season, and what appeared to be a successful revitalisation and enthusiasm. The NFL is a harsh, gameplay-ruining sport, though. Brutal.

And yeah, it was a nice Rams performance to give the teams who assumed their Rams week will be a pushover some pause for thought (for at least 1 week, probably). Nice to see Puka breakout, Atwell show some flash and Ernest Jones making good on his promotion with the green dot.
Also great clip of Geno Smith screaming 'Oh My God' as Aaron Donald was thundering towards him!

I just saw Nick Chubb's MNF knee injury - don't search for it unless you like to see legs going sideways like a L 🤮
And it turns out he had a very similar injury in college football - footage also doing the rounds...
Safe to say his career is in some question right now 🙏

Deeply depressing Browns game (whats unusual about that you might think) Lost Chubb for the season (maybe career) on what most talking heads I trust say was a dirty tackle, whats new, its the Steelers. Just can not bring myself to watch it TBH, Chubb was the beating heart of this team. Dude is an absolute beast, and if is at all possible to come back from it, he WILL do it. Props to the Steelers fans though, applause as he was carted off and chanted CHUBB CHUBB CHUBB Add to that Watson played like a absolute rookie and the Offence committing multiple blunders gifting them most of the points they got. Defence is still stellar, but injuries there now as well. Whereas I was bullish about this season, this game has the headcoach on the hot seat and Watson on total bust alert The life of a Browns fan |
