Given the kind of things he says about UK politics its a bit rich to then jump in bed with a country that essentially still uses slavery for jobs like construction

Yeah, he's made a real point of being very outspoken on social issues and has painted himself as a bit of a left wing champion, so to go and work for the oil slavers is tone deaf at the absolute best.
Forest have given Cooper a new contract. Loyalty in the face of being bottom of the league. Whatever next.

Forest have given Cooper a new contract. Loyalty in the face of being bottom of the league. Whatever next. Best news we've had. From the outside, a lot of people may be scratching their heads. However, majority of the fanbase know what he has done to the club - not just promotion but embedded a culture that has been missing for decades. A real link between the team, club and supporters and the owners have listened. The players also signed (yes, in their 100's ) because of Cooper - widely reported throughout the summer on Athletic Forest reports how he has sold the vision, etc. and they were apparently quite vocal in saying he should stay, behind the scenes. So happy - Anyone else coming in would have same issues, but harder - no their players, trying to win over fans, etc. Will see how it plays out but hopeful that if worst happens and we go down (long way to go still and only a few points off mid-table still!) we stick with him, keep the core and bounce back, as Fulham, Bournemouth, etc all do.

Haaland being on about 20 for the season already is obscene

And one year since the Newcastle takeover and we’re back where Pardew took us and Robson left us - 5th and looking surprisingly hard to beat.
I think there’ll be a lot of tea-towels getting worn to the pub tonight

We look so much better in this shape. And Doherty already offering more attacking wise than royal.

I know with this shape you've then got to chose only two of our front three, but if Conte will persist with wingbacks then we need more bodies in the midfield. We are still crying out for a truly creative attacking midfielder though.

We’ve offered nothing second half.
Brighton are such a quality side though.

Really not sure about Sessegnon, surprised he’s getting good minutes under Conte.
March has been getting round him all game and he’s been caught offside going forward multiple times. Poor final ball too.

I mean it’s not pretty, but a win away at Brighton is an excellent result.

Welbeck must surely have one of the worst conversion rates of strikers in the PL. Feel like I've been watching him play forever and only seen him score that goal where he went around the Utd keeper.
We should have kept him and saved the £70 million we spent on Pepe as they're the same player.

He is more prolific than Ronaldo this year, he has had around 30 shots with barely any on target and 0 goals from open play.

City have a goal difference of +24 after 9 games. That’s just ridiculous.

Avoided our game and just seen the score. We are 100% going down and possibly doing a Sunderland/ Portsmouth. If we're lucky we'll make some cash selling players but we're stuck with Rogers and he's too arrogant to see that this kills his credibility.

On the other hand surely O'Neil gets a permanent contract now. Can't really do any better.

Other opinions available of course.

Personally he wouldn’t have been my choice, but nevertheless he had a very solid game. He won both the Sky MotM and the Spurs fan vote won.
