Honestly don’t see what’s so different about Tuchel to Mourinho. Super defensive and sets up to draw the big games. It works but I thought that was supposed to be football from another era…

More entertaining style of moving the ball too. Mourinho 2.0 perhaps. |

How did Ronaldo react to not taking the pen? Yeah no drama and was the first to console Bruno afterwards. Just cannot get over what Bruno tried on the penalty. Watkins blocking off De Gea from an offside position completely ignored on the goal. Though more pissed off we brought in a set piece coach and don’t have men defending the posts on corners. |

Very poor display, typical of course that Bruno missed a pen with the question over the penalties.
Looks like the goal probably should have been disallowed for offside by Watkins blocking ddg but vat typically inconsistent on so much this season

I'm just gutted I can't even go to sleep tonight knowing I'm a real fan because I can't bring myself to blindly support Sunday League football with a squillion pound squad. At least I could have clung to that.

Villa were very good. But either team could easily have won that. Both teams very wasteful. Sitters missed all game by both.
We over hit or under hit our final ball all game.

Villa deserved it, on the whole. They played well. United didn't, but take nothing away from Villa, they got their tactics right, had the better chances and United didn't really look like scoring again.
Ole will talk about VAR and losing Shaw and Maguire, but he won't consider that playing 2 holding midfielders at home with a back four might be stifling creativity somewhat.
