As poorly as we played we should have won that comfortably. Some quality saves from Fabianski and 2 clear pens turned down.

Off to the home match with Leicester in a bit, feel that we might come unstuck again ala Everton a few weeks ago. My seat at the Amex is about 25 metres behind one of the goals and in five seasons of watching us against Schmeichel he's always been really strong and unfazed. He also banters with the fans a lot, which is fun. Obvs early into the season but its weird not being frustrated already. I fear the universe might correct itself soon though and we'll turn stinky for a few months. How's yer nerves?!. Phew. |

Doesn't get more obvious as a defender flying in legs akimbo and getting none of the ball. Ref may have had a bad angle. But baffling he wasn't sent to view it, but was the handball.
There was definitely knee to knee contact in the previous claim too. It's just wether Ronaldo purposely initiated it.

That we've butchered a tool as potentially useful as VAR into a halfway house farce of petty guidelines and zero accountability is quite a nice allegory on how we've handled every-fucking-thing-else in this country over the last 18 months or so.

I still get irked not knowing what's going on in the ground but after last year, I think this is better. I'd still fuck it off in to the sun if I had a choice though, it's ruined that moment.
