Yep. Looked awful and he's miles away from the ball. Reckless even if unintentional, shouldn't be going for it.

Yep, agree with that. Quite obvious he never meant any harm but it's reckless as it gets.

Leicester #4 has had an absolutely horrid game. What an odd celebration of self love after the goal.

Antonio is such a beast. Shame he gets injured so much.

Is Antonio really 31? I think I may have blanked out the last 8 years of football for some reason

Zouma to West Ham failing over personal terms, for some reason the Hammers don't want to make Kurt their highest paid player.

I think my Leicester win prediction of 5-0 was slightly out.

Oof, West Ham took us apart last night - played exactly the right press (let the centre backs pass it as much as they like between each other, but the second it goes out to Ndidi/Tielemans get all over them). I can sort of see what Perez was trying to do (shield the ball/draw a foul) but he got it completely wrong and it looked pretty nasty

His injury problems are probably a bit of a blessing to West Ham, they would have lost him years ago if he stayed fit.

Charlie Kane has probably had an earful this morning in the wake of City's £100,000,001 bid.

Will City regret spunking 100M on Grealish?

Will City regret spunking 100M on Grealish? I honestly don’t known why they did this. It feels like a pure vanity/statement signing a bit like when they signed Mahrez. Absolutely don’t need him at all and if anything will now hamper up and comers like Foden, and unsettle established players like Sterling. If they had put that money towards Kane they would have walked the league. They will now spend a whole season meaning about it while Lukaku bosses it with Chelsea and wins it. And they fucking deserve it too the utter cunts.

Yeah it's a weird one, add half the grealish money to your Kane bid and you're done and dusted.

Aye. Although Mahrez has been a brilliant signing for City tbh.

The use of 'this summer' rather than this season seems very deliberate. We'll be going through this all over again in January.

Won’t be Jan. My guess is he’ll sign a new contract now with a release clause.

Aye. Although Mahrez has been a brilliant signing for City tbh. Hmm, seems to pop up once every-so-often with a worldy, but doesn't seem indispensible. Certainly not for the money they spent on him.

I don't watch them week in/week out but he seemed pretty influential in their title wins, with the exception of last year perhaps. Maybe not irreplaceable though, true enough.

It seemed to me that when City signed Grealish, it was because they knew they wouldn't be able to do a deal for Kane and wanted a marquee signing. They must have known the valuation for Kane and were not willing to pay it.
Signing a new contract now with a release clause that kicks in next summer would probably make sense. Or maybe they'll go with another 'gentleman's agreement'.
