Great performance. Kind of makes the Ipswich result more frustrating. But still, this shows the doubters we are going in the right direction. 4-0. Blimey. This is the challenge. Lots of good teams have had good results. It's sustaining it that makes it really difficult, especially in this era. City will come back and go on a run, they (virtually) always do. But at least there's a clump of clubs to take advantage if they don't. |

What is this City defence doing? Nothing, nothing is what they're doing. To be fair, you could say the same about the defensive midfielders. The wide angle on the first Maddison goal shows the city midfielder running with Maddison and spotting the run happening, but instead of putting in effort to go with him he just stops and points. Similar with Porro goal. No one bothering to mark him. |
