City defeated in their quest against the rules being used against them. Clubs vote in the altered APT rules 16-4 (City, Villa, Newcastle, Forest). Reported by a few people, but Telegraph leading it. What are Villa and Forest getting out of that? Have they got connections to the middle east too?

Same teams that were all trading young academy players between each other for stupid prices, bent innit

Villa and Forest were part of the inflated player value swapshop which suggests they have a pretty laissez-faire regarding the concept of 'fair market value' and this is a central tenet of regulating associated party transactions. Whether their position represents their genuine belief about what is best for the game or whether their vote was sold as part of those extremely conveniently timed and priced deals, who knows.

I’m assuming Everton have decided its best to keep quiet and play nice to try and stay out of anymore trouble now

There was a post on reddit about the links the other day. The Villa CEO (?) Wes Edens, used to be the owner of a big company in the States. He sold it to Softbank, the Japanese bank, but had stayed on as a board member to continue their success.
Softbank are now selling this company... To a company which just happens to be owned by.. You guessed it! Khaled Al-mubarak and Sheik Mansoor!
It's not dodgy though, because he doesn't own it any more.

And we’ve still got the special promise the PL made us write to say that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman run Saudi government wouldn’t interfere with the country’s sovereign wealth fund PIF or the person who runs it, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Moussa Diaby going to PIF's Al-Ittihad for £55m in late June was also the only big Saudi move that really helped any PL clubs with PSR this summer.

Pep: "75% of rival clubs want us to go down".
Nonsense, it's far higher than that.

I don't want them to go down.
I'd rather they were expelled from the entire football pyramid.

Didn't Pep say in the past he would leave if City were found guilty? Now he is staying to bring them back up!

The burning desire to right the terrible injustice that the PL has inflicted on City?

Leicester being astonishingly poor "defending" there.

Exactly what I was thinking, obviously.
Great defending there

Leicester are a surprisingly dirty team these days. 😞

Not sure they'll have eleven at the end of the match, could easily have one player already off.

Hilarious defending for Palmer's shot.

Players playing in their natural positions and the attacking balance is back.

Can't believe that was a yellow. Barely even made a challenge.

The standard of refereeing in the PL is just so bad, what's a yellow just feels like a complete lottery at this point.

The ref just seems to be going on player reactions rather than what actually happened.
Again there on that clean tackle from Jorginho.

Need more goals before ref sends someone off for the narrative.

Can't believe that was a yellow. Barely even made a challenge. The Jorginho one that Elanga is still feeling? Maybe I need to see it again but it looked to me that Jorginho brushed him fairly softly but Elanga wanted a free kick as he had no support so threw himself to the ground theatrically at full sprinting speed. Not surprised it hurt, but it wasn't entirely due to the challenge. He made a choice. I'll accept a foul but a booking was so OTT.

Those are always given, slower defender takes down quick attacker he'll never keep up with. Those are always yellows.

This ref must have put a spread bet on for cards.
