This feels a lot like the Citeh Arsenal game, where Citeh's centre backs had all the ball on the edge of the box, trying to act as playmakers. Weird way to try to break down a defensive block. Same outcome. |

I didn't watch it and haven't seen the incidents but I will say that the marginal calls so often seem to break City's way.

Looks like Silva is stood there with the sole aim of being an obstruction imo. Which should really make him offside. I donโt know the letter of the law though.

I think Iโd probably prefer the rule to be if youโre in an offside position then youโre offside. Would stop all this second phase stuff and deliberately being stood offside at free kicks malarkey.
