Can shrug a single loss off but our red card record with Arteta is poor, even if some of them have been wrong, and Saliba today was really stupid, as Trossard and Rice were. Really, really frustrating.

This is a setback but big picture it's building nicely with Merino and Nwaneri looking very good and Saka, Timber, Saliba and Odegaard to come back. Saliba deserved to be sent off, and it was as much Trossard's fault for the pass. Bournemouth deserved to win. It's a competitive league and if we start stressing too much about dropped points in adverse circumstances in mid-October it won't be fun anymore. |
