I could be reading that wrong but I think Neal is really happy.

I'd be pretty happy moving to the south of France too.

Keeper shenanigans unresolved it seems - reports we're unwilling to pay the €30m for Garcia (I assume as that's the release amount, it needs to be paid in full). So we're now trying for Neto (had missed Kepa had gone to Bournemouth!) before we let Ramsdale go.

Neto on the cheap makes more sense to me. Even if Garcia is seen as the Raya replacement for 3/4 years time, €30m upfront for a backup seems a lot. If he really wants to play for us we can afford to let him run down his contract a bit and develop before we go back for him.

So what happens when Chelsea fail UEFA's tougher FFP rules? UEFA even passed a rule recently that specifically closed the selling of assets to yourself loophole, a la Chelsea hotel and training ground.
I thought they'd withdraw from Europe and seek a settlement but after beating the napkins last night, it seems not. Likely they'll make a small loss from the Conf league participation.

Toney and Osimhen apparently.
Probably just a couple of outgoings for Spurs today. Pretty happy with our squad at the moment though. Not going to win the league or anything, but moving in the right direction. Hopefully we can have a good go at the cups.

I'd quite like to see an upgrade to Ben Davies as cover for a left sided defender. I wouldn't be against us going for a low-ball offer for Sterling either. I'd say he's still a better option than Werner!

Yeah LB cover is a concern, but Spence can also cover there.
I'm not dead against Sterling, but I don't think he offers that much over Sterling and Johnson. Big game experience maybe.

I think I've warmed to the idea of Sterling now we have no other choice. We've managed to offload to a good price. If we can get him in on a temp basis, this could push us to the title.

As long as it's on loan, I'm comfortable with that.

I’d be happy with Sterling. Very interested to see what Arteta can get out of him.

Latest reports suggesting Arsenal aren't interested in Sterling, which could just be the phase in the process where we make it clear we're prepared to walk away unless they agree to our terms, or it could be genuine.
In other news, Chelsea may genuinely sign Sancho. WTF are they doing?

Merino has a potentially fractured shoulder from training after Gabi fell on him. FFS. Hasn't even played a minute and he's already injured.

If he has actually fractured his shoulder that's months not weeks.

Probably wouldn't have played against Brighton anyway. Then the international break. No need to panic.
