Juve expected to make a loan offer for Sancho too apparently. Expected to be us covering a big portion of the wages.

There's a chaos with Nunez which is irresistible. Doesn't fit with Arteta but as a fan, got to love players like that.

To be fair he would score and create more than any of our existing wide players. Not that I particularly want it to happen though. Would he?

Some properly fun nonsense about Nunez to Arsenal tonight. Ridiculous but it's an irresistible one to imagine. Kai, Jesus and Darwin in one team. So many chances, all of them missed. glol at this one Rationally I know it won't happen, and rationally I know we'd get hugely frustrated with him, but a quick and physical chaos merchant like Nunez is something we don't have and on that level it would actually make sense. Bit like we used to get when Wenger occasionally brought on Sanogo and defences suddenly had to deal with an unpredictable flurry of limbs and energy, except not crap.

Just looked up Sanogo and he's currently playing in the second tier of Chinese football after a short stint in the Armenian top division. I think he's gettable!

Still influential in winning us an FA Cup imo. More than many players can say.

Wow, his Wiki career stats section reads like a Sunday league player who somehow blagged his way into Arsenal, got found out and the only way was down. Still, you'd take it.

Apparently, United are desperate to win the attitude Olympics this summer; we're now being strongly linked with Toney.
Tbh, preferable to Sterling. Don't suppose Brentford want a subsidised loan for Sancho, do they?

Guess we know Sneezy's opinion on Blur vs Oasis. Feels like he'd been around longer than that. Only 34! 15 years doesn't seem particularly long for a GK.

Praise be to Paul Scholes if this is true.

Loan + obligation to buy The player keen to the move This is matrix level bullet dodging if true. Sancho gone and no Sterling makes this a really good window, better than could have been expected. I mean, I think there's a lot of work still to do and we'll suffer some ups and downs whilst being a long way from challenging for titles, but there are little bits of light emerging.

I know he’s not exactly his dad, but Chiesa for £10m seems like a mad bit of business.

Wages is the only one. If he's perma-crocked anyway. Good player there for sure

Ramsdale fee agreed £18-25m. Better than I thought we'd get. We're pretty much in the black for this summer once/if Eddie goes through.
Feels like we've saved money for something but maybe that thing is next summer.

Decent returns for the sales overall, given the minutes played last year.
Sad to see Rambo go - not much in it between the 2 of them, Raya probably just suits the team better. Good luck to him.

How has Nunez got away with a 5 match international ban for brawling and throwing a chair at fans. Cantona got 9 months for far less.

Wish we'd gone in for Ramsdale tbh at that price. Though our 6'8 Brazilian giant looked pretty good on his debut v Newcastle last night.

It might be a lanague barrier or maybe misquotes, but the way Marcesca talks about players not in his plans is very close to the margins of employee harassment.

"Arsenal are still in the market for a winger opportunity but it may depend on the future of Reiss Nelson. If there are no good opportunities for wingers, Arsenal will continue with the current squad."
Must admit that leaves me a bit worried. Mostly because Jesus seems to pick up knocks.. and Saka plays 100 games a season.

Yup, I'm now officially worried. Our prospective lack of forward options doesn't make sense. We really need an extra player who can play wide.
We essentially only have cover for one injury in our front three (and Jesus has already picked up a knock). Two injuries and we're still able to field a decent starting XI but Nelson would be our only attacking option to bring off the bench, so if we need a goal, we're in major trouble.
It also means we'll likely have to play Havertz in the league cup etc.
The time you most need the full squad is during the UCL group stages, Christmas and when the UCL knockouts resume (if you're in them). I'd say we need the extra body now, more than in January.
If we can't get someone else in now, I'd reluctantly pull the plug on the Nketiah deal, nevermind let Nelson go.

A quick £25m to Chelsea should secure you the services of one R. Sterling...
