I've paid 19.99 for Now TV sports for about 7 years now. Do one month, threaten to cancel your subscription just before it expires and you'll get a "please don't leave" offer before you can fully cancel the sub. Yep, same here.

There's an app called Streamlocator that is worth checking out. You still need to pay for that (which is similar to VPN tech) and then pay for a subscription like FuboTV Canada. Ends up costing roughly the same, but you get every single PL game live and a few in 4K HDR.

Ornstein reporting that Arsenal have accepted an offer for Eddie of a season long loan with €30m obligation to buy (so extremely similar to our Raya deal). That's more money than I thought we'd get for him. Good news I think. Although does point to any potential big money attacking addition being next summer not this one. There's such a dearth of strikers at the moment. Nico Williams but he's set on Barca. Think we probably need another forward though. Jesus is bound to get injured, we can't play Saka for 60 games again. Not sure Vieira out there works I think Jesus out there instead of Saka will work fine but we still need someone other than Martinelli with raw pace. There's no way we are getting Isak or Williams so it will require being creative and taking a punt on someone with rough edges or injury issues.

I just don't have much faith that Jesus will be able to play 30-40 games this season. Looks sharp as now mind.

Only issue is I can't easily watch on my phone as the app isn't available on the UK play store. So even side loading it and running through a VPN it picks up that I shouldn't have access. Works fine on the laptop though.

Now has also started to roll out UHD with its Boost upgrade (again you can use the threaten to cancel route here, I get it for 2 quid a month currently) which I believe is compatible with a few popular streaming devices and PS5.
Always been a case of having to put up with ordinary picture quality vs. cost but it seems to have caught up now.

Yeah I just received the same. I might bite this time cause I doubt Virgin are going to give me the same offer again.
Virgin stream had an introductory offer of £18,95 for 18 months a while ago. That's expiring in Oct though.

New season, new signings, charity shield tomorrow. How's Utd looking at start of the season? Well Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Yoro and Hojlund all injured. Bad omen.

Not sure of the logic in that, but it allows me to watch Peacock on my phone!

Chelsea now have 8 goalkeepers (after spending £17m on Mike Penders).
Do they have any self control? Unless Nkunku delivers or they rely on Palmer all season they're still short up front, and I'm not sure throwing £35m on the latest exciting young striker from Spain is going to sort that for them.

About to sign Pedro Neto from Wolves too now, FFS.

Like I said, ETH is gone before Christmas if this keeps up. They, to their credit, kept him when he could have gone during the worst times last season and I'd say rightly rewarded him after the FA Cup final win. I'd like to think they'd give him some leeway if there's an injury crisis given the above. If things aren't that and the form is just poor then I'd imagine their patience will soon wear thin.

If Chelsea sign Neto that'd make 12 forwards on their books according to transfermarkt.
I'd tap up Madueke and see if there's any way that we might be able to prise him out of there. I've been a fan for a while and he's the sort of profile I had in mind to get more pace and directness. Wouldn't start for us initially but seems like someone Arteta could get more out of.

Apparently they’ve had a shocking pre season and have like 44 first team players on their books. It’s mental.
Surely there a few decent deals to be had in there.
It would be hilarious if they crashed and burned. Letting Poch go just as he was starting to get a tune out of them was madness.

£60 million sure is a lot of money for a player who's pretty consistent with muscle injuries. Guess he gets a good pay day for sitting on the sidelines. Bananas recruitment again from Chelsea especially with all £20 million players they've bought.

just feels like they're going to have the same issues trying to integrate players into a team like last year (which they had almost done by the end of the season)

To be fair their loan army only consists of 7 players at the moment.

Solanke to Spurs @ £60m seems like a "pricey but that's inevitable with a striker" deal to me and while I would have preferred to see a player of his calibre come in sub £50m so be it we definitely need that type of player for that position asap.
Lols @ Chelsea but money and time may/should buy you back success eventually! Good luck getting a squad cohesion and blend in the fist half of the season though so likely prepare for another disappointing season and just hope your board & finance team are prepared for the long term plan and it doesn't go to sh*t and a firesale!

I just check who they're covering and buy a one month pass if it will get me 3 or 4 games that I want to watch.

I've just read Chelsea have _already_ spent £200m on bringing in players this summer. And I think I've heard of two of them.
Sold players worth total of £90m, but was hoping we'd end this cluster bombing approach to signings...

I can't help but think Boehly thinks you need to draft players at the start of every football season.

The Solanke money may be ott but if he is who Ange has been wanting and we’ve gone and done the deal then I’m happy. Plus he ticks the homegrown box that we desperately need.

It’s a lot of money but with so few strikers around there will always be a premium for anyone half decent. It’s a position we really need to strengthen so we’ll just have to swallow it. If we didn’t the levy out morons would be all over it too.
