Hopefully they just strip and don't reassign, would be the weirdest thing to have on your history.

I've been quiet this year for fear of jinxing things so let me start by saying - Fuck you fans of Tottenham Hotspur. You're a small minded bunch who would rather see you and your neighbour live in shit than actually make an effort to compete. You are an embarrassment to football fans everywhere. Conté said it best (but it applies to both the players and the fans): "They're not used to play for something important. They don't want to play under stress, they don't want to lay under pressure. 20 years this is the ownership and nothing changes?" I'll tell you Antonio; it's the toxic, negative and unambitious fanbase that's holding the club back. Not the players, not the ownership. - Fuck you Manchester City. I could repeat this sentence 115 times but you get the jist of it. - Fuck you Pep Guardiola. Fucking changing the way football is played all over the world and building teams that regularly get 90+ pints years after year. Not even Ferguson could do that (and he was in an arguably equal financial position before Roman Abramovich came in and changed the landscape forever). - Fuck you Pep Guardiola for being involved with teams with dodgy financial/refereeing decisions. From Barça that were actually paying refs off to Bayern who have been accused of the same and now City who somehow made an operating profit during the COVID pandemic. Fuck you for even associating yourself with such skullduggery. - Fuck you Arsenal for throwing away 6 points against a useless Aston Villa. We battered them over 2 games and should have been at least 4 points better off. And for dropping points against 10 man Fulham at home. That said, couldn't be prouder of the lads. 89 points would have won virtually every league title pre-Pep. I'm a natural pessimist so take this with a grain of salt but I don't see Arsenal going again. This is as high as we go (unless City are stripped of titles and we get 2, Tottenham get 1 + MU etc). Good to have you back

City will never get done, they have endless money to throw at lawyers to muddy the waters and delay proceedings. Money the FA won't be able to compete with, I have no doubt some kind of settlement will be reached, one that keeps city where they're and the pockets of the FA being filled.
In the mean time they will "mean buisness" with the low hanging fruit of Everton and forest.
Bitterness aside arsenal have been awesome this year. So much fun to watch them and to finish with near 90 points and not win it is gutting. After last season I predicted we would completly fall away this year and we didn't at all. We got stronger.
All the time arteta keeps interested and the money is there for him to spend its looking like we will have a shot at least.

Finished 10 points clear of relegation in the end, in points won on the pitch.
Never in doubt 😬

That was a tremendous season. We came up short but I can't fault anything. Privilege to watch and enjoy this team. Hopefully we'll kick on and improve. All I wanted was to be competitive and We've done that in spades.

Won my fantasy draft for the 2nd year in a row and 300 quid up is about the only consolation of this season.
Unless we some how fuck over City in the final.

Consider Newcastle basically didn’t win any games between November and April, benefitted hugely from multiple big clubs having an off year last season and spent surprisingly modestly* this season finishing 7th is probably a better indicator of where the club is in its oilball project last year’s Champions League qualification. Doesn’t really feel right that we’re on the same points as Man U but better goal difference by 24. Getting caught by Chelsea is probably the most annoying part since they only started performing about a month ago. It feels like the FFP rules and desire to make progress will probably see a bigger clear out of players than Howe has done previously. Overall though, its been a decent season and there’s always the thrashing of PSG to get on DVD to celebrate. * For a club with potentially infinite money

Very entertaining season, all told. Full of twists and turns. Would have been even better had the bottom two teams been anywhere near the standard required at this level.

I can’t wait for next season if we continue on this form and also add a striker. I hope we continue fighting.

The best thing about the last few years is absolutely the connection between the players and the fans. It's tremendous.

Oh, and another fuck you to VAR. Our 2nd goal celebrations were somewhat curtailed again. It's shit for people in the ground, that's it.

That's handball if its the Everton player.
The ref completely missed the blatant handball in the city game which would have made it 3-2 if not for VAR.

Should have been disallowed on that basis imo. Kind of the point though - in the ground, there are no comms at all. All I knew was it was fairly muted. And then about 5 mins later VAR cleared a handball b
