Man City's 3rd kit is one of the worst I've ever seen.
Edit* Seems like a weird Puma thing they've done with several other kits. Properly shite.

Villa played Liverpool on Monday. Guess everyone is in the same boat. Ooodergard is back at Arsenal. Ramsdale should go through too. If we added competition/replacement for Xhaka and a RB, that would be ideal but I can't see either of those happening now. Maybe Jan. And we'd need to sell a few too. |

Puma’s kits are the worst imo. Nike or Adidas generally do a decent job but not sure about Adidas’s efforts for Arsenal this year. Think they did a much better job with United this season.
As for Odegaard coming back - Arsenal’s transfer business feels like that classic third season of Football Manager where you have to spend your budget on signing the good loanees and replacing the aging free agents you got in first season. I generally think the signings have been good but I do get the feeling we’re not much better off than we were last season having spent a decent amount to get here.
If we can get in a decent RB and shift Bellerin I’d be happy. Might be asking too much though.

Odegaard confirmed. Ramsdale to follow later today I suspect. Happy with that.
Club also confirmed that Auba, Laca, Willian and Runarsson missed the Brentford game with Covid. Quite why they couldn't say that at the time, who knows.

Odegaard is a brilliant bit of business. Delighted with that. Thought he'd cost far more than that too and club actually deserve some credit for how they played it.
Need to be convinced on Ramsdale, but we definitely need someone.
Still nothing like enough to make us top four challengers but might be enough to get back into top 6.

Very happy to see Odegaard sign too, much preferred to Maddison.
I wonder if Arteta and Edu will be able to shift any of the deadwood before the end of the deadline though.

Agreed, the English younguns will surely get moves or loans. Torreira might get a cut-price move back to Italy too. The real mistakes that have boxed us in were the unnecessary free transfer signings of ageing players to multi-year contracts like Kolasinac, Willian & Cedric. Also, the renewals of Auba and Xhaka could end up looking similarly stupid. There once was a time when not even Dennis Bergkamp could get more than one year, despite being 31!
On the flip side, I actually think our incoming business has been reasonably astute for once and does appear to suggest some lessons have been learnt. Lokonga and Tavarez (21), Odegaard (22), White (23) should all be on cheaper deals and offloadable if they don't work out. Even Ramsdale (24) is a somewhat sensible pick from the available options if you accept the fact that the club were adamant any new keeper had to be English.
The pessimism (which I share) is simply because the Kronkes are still holding the reigns with limited ambition and ruthlessness. Josh told us to 'be excited', and whilst money has been spent and Arteta has been backed, we've barely strengthened our starting XI from May, whilst City, Chelsea, Man Utd pull further away.
