A smoked salmon and roast vege cous cous to start. Followed by a tagliatelle with chicken and mushroom in a red wine sauce. And a lovely strawberry ice cream for afters. Through my considerable detective skills I think you might have also had a Kit Kat, which to be fair is probably the nicest thing on that tray by a mile.

It was actually pretty nice, easily the nicest in flight meal I've ever had. Didn't eat the kit-kat though, got too close too the pasta and completely melted.

Roast chicken and vegetables, with a lemon dressing and a pickled cucumber side salad. Followed by cheese and crackers and a sponge.

Unusual to be shown it before it's cooked.

Even taken on an airplane with limited space and lighting, these are still better photos than his.

What is fast becoming known as the usual, i.e. chicken breast with broccoli.
Didn't even have the brown rice tonight because I had some of the crusts off my kids' pizza.

Bacon brie and cranberry is a glorious sandwich, even works with turkey bacon.

We don't need cranberry ruining the savoury goodness of turkey, bacon and stuffing. Certainly not in every single festive sandwich, pasty etc

I will get extremely murdery about the idea of "turkey bacon". That's not a thing that exists

Some pulled Angus burger on a brioche bun. Basically a BBQ sugar burger, disgusting. Hash sticks were yum though.

Frittata for the little ‘un and myself, via the 10.5” Lodge cast iron skillet, so:
Olive oil, bacon lardons, spring onions, chestnut mushrooms, six eggs, salt and pepper, butter, sliced tomatoes and Cheshire cheese. Parsley on top.
Fry up, then oven for six minutes. Yummington.

Risotto tonight, so: basmati rice (the Mrs. doesn’t like arborio), done in butter and chicken stock, then bacon, onions, mushrooms, sweetcorn and peas, fried in olive oil, red wine vinegar, black pepper, parsley and Maldon sea salt, then lump it all together!

Bacon and scrambled eggs on toast, absolutely delicious, obviously eggs cooked to perfection, the only way. Always a bit stressful for me to prepare tbh, feckin kids

Roast beef. A blue moon occurrence, was sensational. Medium at the end for my wife, medium rare in the middle. Still salivating.
