That's the problem with billionaires, they think they have earned it so they know better than everyone else. Its why they set up these ridiculous charitable foundations rather than actually pay their taxes because they know how to spend that money better than the government.

And then someone (I can't remember who, but it was someone who had expertise) did show a plan, and he just backed away like he always does. Interesting that in first list, the supposed top 10 of (I assume US) philanthropists are only giving away a couple of percent of their total wealth. Whilst that will have impact, it's a pitiful amount really. |

I think they are. There continues to be a complete lack of any kind of enthusiasm or visual support for Trump here compared to 2016 or 2020. Harris/Walz signs continue to pop up in unexpected places - someone up the road has just put one up while still having the Gadsden flag flying, which is a fun contrast.
