A personalised email to individual workers? More than my company did in their last round of "workplace change". They just emailed everyone and said "here's the old structure, and here's the new one. K thnx bye!". And people had to literally search the new org charts to see if their names were present or not.

By all accounts, lots of people have been locked out of their accounts without being notified (yet), which is naughty, too.
I wonder how many who aren't sacked will leave of their own volition? Of course, there'll be some fanboi arselickers desperate to work for him, but I imagine what was already a bit of a shitshow is going to be a horrendous, toxic workplace for the next few months.

Anyone with any sense or talent will have already left, anyone with any sense or talent wont accept a job there for the forseeable future. We saw it after a 'streamlining' exercise. Far more people left than they were expecting and word got out that there was volatility in a few departments and its become basically impossible to recruit into them at the moment. They were after a 100 person headcount reduction and ended up at nearly 200 and entire functions in chaos. High demand talent in voting with their feet shocka. |
