From a money making POV, obviously Twitter was a horrible purchase.
From a fucking up the information space, sowing huge divisions in western society, and just generally platforming racists and scum bags POV, I’d say it’s working out as planned.
Almost as though there were Russian oligarchs involved with the purchase..oh wait, yeah that was confirmed a few days ago.
I honestly don’t know what the end game of it all is, but I think discrediting him as purely a drug addled idiot is inaccurate.

Picture 1 - Congrats on your copyright infringement machine. Hope the original creator doesn't see it
Picture 2 - Lol, those fingers.
Imagine spunking all of that money on a chatgpt fork just to have your own shitty meme farm.

I'd love to see *any* Western government having the balls to suspend Twitter operation on its territory, holding him responsible for his constantly manchild behaviour and inaction when it comes to spreading misinformation.
If they can also throw the book at Facebook, even better.

All the other rat fucker tech CEOs have faced it, but this horrible cunt letting disinformation, antisemitism, racism, misogyny all run wild, and not even a suggestion he might have to answer for it. Right up there with Trump and Putin for people who I’ll be celebrating their deaths with a drink.

I have the strong belief that he'll go down the weird ass Howard Hughes route. Their similarities are too on the nose.

Imagine spending R&D time and money and your good engineers time on making that instead of something the market wants and will sell loads of.
Great idea. Here’s $50bn Mr Musk.

On Reddit the "Cyberstuck" community which makes fun of Cybertrucks and their myriad issues is twice the size of the "Cybertruck" community supporting the vehicle, so I think people are realising it's actually shoddy.
It's pretty insane how the Cybertruck advocates are trying to defend fundamental issues.

It's meant to look shit and not work and be dangerous to drive and come with a bumper sticker that reads "look at me, I am a giant cunt with more money than sense, gaze upon my works and despair". All part of the genius plan.

It is easily the ugliest car I think I have ever seen. Right up there with the homer car design thing from the simpsons.
Except it's not a joke, it got made.
The other teslas are all fugly too, so many better looking electric cars out there, yet folk buy these?

I like that it took these simple processes that have been established and made uniform across all cars for years and decided it's best to add complications to it. Things like you know, starting the car.

Teslas at least look close to what one would expect a car to look like. Nobody with any sense could look at a Cybertruck and go "oh yes, I should own one of those". It's like the opposite of a status symbol.

I don’t know about that, it’s probably the ultimate status symbol. It confirms with absolute certainty that the driver is an arsehole

Brazil still hasn't banned Twitter but unless there's some conciliatory move from Musk, yeah right, I imagine it'll happen.
In a shock to no one, Brazil has now joined the UK in a lot of people migrating to Bluesky.

British legal Twitter and a lot of the press have moved to Bluesky and those that had tried Threads were happy to jump ship again.
Quite an interesting chat with the CEO of Bluesky on the Quiet Riot podcast a few days ago, she seemed to be keen on keeping the place turning into X.
Video coming in the next Bluesky update at last.

It's interesting that not so long ago there was significant outcry about having something like Stormfront forums existing and pushback from having the website creator SquareSpace allowing them to use their product. Skip forward to today and well, yeah.

I’m not sure switching from Musk to Zuckerberg is an improvement. He’s just less public about being a massive cunt.

No denying that - just there is some moderation and it's way less toxic.
