After watching the latest TeslaDriver video I'm not sure Autopilot should be legal in the UK with the current state of it.

The US having no pedestrian impact regulations seems related to the success of SUVs and Trucks over there.

Over there, the roads are massive, the lanes are massive, the parking spaces are massive.
Europe's old road network just can't cope with the glut of SUVs.

It can barely cope with a Tesla let alone a Cyb3rtruck!

He really is an even less talented version of Michael Scott.

Unfair comparison: Michael Scott was at least a well meaning (if inept) person. I don’t think Musk has any kindness in his dead heart.

It’s like when CJ from Brooklyn 99 kept using ‘that’s going to leave a mark’ incorrectly

It was my first thought seeing that wiring, what if a component fails, but I can only imagine it has some sort of passthrough in that instance

Based on the rest of their design approach I’d guess there is no bypass system at all.

It’s amazing this thing can even be sold. Steering and pedals are all ride by wire, all it takes is one dodgy solder joint to the boot motor and your vehicle is pulling a sharp left on the motorway at 80mph whether you like it or not

But it’s 48v! Now your service technician needs to wear electrical safety gear to go near it, what benefits.

Are the brakes definitely part of this? I'd be surprised if so. Tesla is one of the only EV manufacturers just to use traditional brakes - most other companies use blended brakes and they're awful :/

That’s just the vinyl wrap coming away though isn’t it? I mean, it’s still a factory option so that is still absolutely pathetic.
