Apple has now withdrawn advertising from the dying platform.
If anyone wants a Bluesky code I have 4 spares.

Sorry for the dumb question which I could probably Google, but is Bluesky just a Twttier clone or does it have real differences?

Not full of Nazis for a start, it's Twitter but with some features missing which aren't getting added that quickly but it's a lifeboat that more people are jumping into.
In comparison to Mastodon it's light on capabilities but it's clearly gaining critical mass faster.

Apple have pulled their advertising now, and Lionsgate.
Going well Elon. A winner is you.

Huh, so all these big guys right up until this point had no problem with their brands being in amongst all the other awful racist/misogynistic/antisemitic shit on there, including Mr "I love Hitler/I hate Jews" kanye. I'm not exactly clear on what exactly has changed for now to be the moment.

mastodon.social/explore is a lot better than I remembered. But worried about the low counts it seems to take to get on the front page though.

Wild speculation, but I wonder if he needed a win today and so pushed for the launch. It would be in character, at least.
So, between this and the Cybertruck, what is he good for any more?

Nah, they’ve been ready to launch for weeks but didn’t get a launch license until 2 days ago.

In fairness, these launches blowing up aren't actually a big deal for SpaceX. The thing with NASA is that they have to toe the line of public visibility so if all their tests blow up people might react badly and then lose public funding. Private companies don't really have to give a shit though, and apparently you make way quicker progress doing things this way instead. If Musk wasn't such a monumental penis I doubt the articles about this stuff would have the same tone.

It’s not like there’s plenty of need in the world around the environment we share and survive within or anything…
Why not continue spunking millions of dollars on space exploits while you could be trying to develop technology to help correct this planet we are royally f*cking up?
No wait… that might take a genius 🙄

Musks never had an interest in being ecologically friendly, his interest in EVs has only ever been self serving

SpaceX get their funding from NASA however, if their ships keep blowing up then NASA will pull the money and give more to Boeing

(I know, you learn from failure yadda yadda) I hate the guy but absolutely love my Starlink internet. Complete game changer with where I’m living. Wouldn’t be seen dead in a Tesla or a blue check Twitter account.
