My only real experience of Tesla was when the chap over the road to me bought a Tesla Model X. He seemed really proud of it at first, then it very quietly got replaced by a Mercedes after about 6 months.
Have to say, for a car so expensive the interior seemed really quite cheap and plasticy.

You’re all missing the bigger picture here.
Elon is going to do what no-one else has ever done and directly monetise spambots.
Like, 90% of Twitter content is posted by botfarms. At $8 p/m p/bot he’s going to the world’s first trillionaire.

Before it became clear that he was just a confidence trickster, that always baffled me about the tesla valuation. The cars are as ugly as fuck and it seemed like once the established brands got their fingers out of their arses they would overtake rapidly overtake tesla in pretty much every department. I just couldnt work out how they were so valuable.

Tesla is like a crypto, valeted insanely high because of its (now vanishing) uniqueness and because it’s owned by a few very rich cults who keep taking it up to become even richer cunts.
Plus government subsidies

The S is over ten years old at this point and I think the X came out in 2015. They look dated because they are, which is probably why they had to crash the price of them this year.

And then he started talking about the real world, society and politics. I know a little about the real world, society and politics & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from them.

Not only is the S 10 years old, but it’s built from shared components off cars that are now getting on for 20 years old

They both go to the pub and order a single plum, floating in perfume, served in a man's hat My favourite thing about that scene is the fact that Mo just reaches down and produces it like it's nothing.

The cars and rockets are fine, the least you can say is they’ve proved the concept is viable and it made the competition move faster than they’d otherwise would have. You can have good ideas and still be a cunt, this isn’t some black and white, everything he’s come up with is good or bad situation.

I thought he just bought it.

He's saying non subscribers won't be able to vote in polls, therefore his poll about wanting to step down was plagued by bots obviously! Will be fun if he ran the poll a second time with the paid subscribers and still was asked to step down. Man never got over that poll and it shows. Pathetic

I'll bash Musk at every opportunity but SpaceX does a lot of good stuff and the ISS would have problems without them.

SpaceX does a good job of soaking up all the public money that republicans would be outraged about going to state organisations like nasa, but are delighted when used to subsidise private industry that they can invest in and get rich off

By soaking up all public money elstoof actually means they got less than half what Boeing got, and they are on their 6th manned flight while Boeing still has to launch their first.

Still, none of that means El Ron is personally designing rockets. Financing, sure.
But he's not - and will never be - Tony Stark, no matter how much he would love to be (and his Stans would love to paint him).

Is that the nationalized Boeing, or the one where you can buy stocks and get rich from a company making profits from government subsidies and programs?
