So this started happening recently, any embeds in posts such as Twitter links do not show for me. At first I thought it was PiHole as they show up of I'm not on home WiFi but disabling it still doesn't show them.
Switching to mobile works fine so I can only assume it's an issue between whatever the embed uses and Sky internet much like how links use a go between address and not just take you straight to the link itself. Anyone have a clue what's going on?

Check your browser privacy settings.
Edit: read the second half more closely. Hmm, maybe DNS then? Though if you’re using PiHole you’d be using that and then a fallback. Try Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)

I can see that. Erm... I used to have this if I used Edge. The 'prevent tracking' (i think) toggle disables the twitter embeds. What phone are you one? Maybe try another browser or toggle off the tracking prevention if its on. The one youre using may treat wifi and mobile signals differently or something.

I'm using Safari on an iPhone. Never thought about checking with desktop pc but it seems that works fine in Chrome. Hmm. Not sure what setting Safari could use to block if WiFi but allow if mobile.
I've tried disabling stuff like content blockers and privacy tracking and still no joy.

Ok think I've sussed it with the suggestion of a WiFi only setting on phone. Under WiFi options on iPhone, there's "Limit IP Address Tracking" which clearly sounds like something you want enabled but if I turn that off the embeds show again in Safari. Must be something new as my phone software updated the other day around the time the embeds stopped working
