This was legitimately great though. And this is the best intro credits, later seasons had clips from the show but this is just more stately.
When I rewatched this fairly recently, I had this weird Pavlovian response when the end credits started, I could practically hear Sky's continuity voice over person start speaking, as I was so used to hearing that. She had a lovely voice.

That does not reflect how dark and scary that show could get at all. My brother had to turn it off because he was trying to show his kids what he watched at their age and they were terrified. |

I've always wanted to go to Portmeirion because of that show. Fond memories of watching it with my dad as a youngster. It's fucking great and in a really beautiful part of Wales. Probably one of my fave places I've ever been. Get it on a nice sunny day and it's hard to beat. |
