It will b0rk your install from going back to vanilla or modded fallout unless you apply the mod with something like mod manager.

I had a hefty mod setup already so just backed up my entire folder to another drive and then uninstalled and reinstalled f04 from steam. Grab the downgraded from nexus mods (follow the guide on gog/folon sites), takes a while to process.

Then install folon. Done.

I had to grab the buffout mod to fix the train crash at the start but I believe folon has since been updated to fix this bug.

Sounds doable, but not sure if I want to deal with it right now. From what I've read it seems like it might not hurt to wait for another update or two to the mod as well.
