I never knew, he came across as very positive and had a great sense of humour in the posts I saw, you never know what people are dealing with away from the keyboard. Very sad news.

I didn't know Chris, but like many that frequent these parts, he seemed like a thoroughly decent person. It hurts my brain to think that there are so many idiots in this world that seem to live a long life, while so many good people are lost too soon.
Condolences to Kate and her family. May Chris live on, partly in our memories and partly as that little space invader up there.
All the best mate - we'll see you online in another life.

Been a bit distracted by work lately and only just seen this news. Not much to add that hasn’t already been said, except that Marie Curie nurses and staff are indeed angels who help people through the most difficult of times. Had the honour of taking the total fundraising amount over 5 grand, but you other fine folks did most of the legwork- this place is alright.

It's amazing to see it go past £5k.

Not sure we have done too much of it, there is another forum contributing and lots of friends and family as well.

Quite late to comment but I did want to offer my condolences. Tragic news. Saw his posts around and he seemed to maintain a positive attitude. Remarkable really, given the circumstances. Wishing his family well.
