I'm shifting some rooms about to create some space for my Lego City to grow. And it's not official Lego, but I've spotted this and so tempted. Anyone familiar with the manufacturer?

How is there not a Lego Pokemon line? That would just be a license to print cash.
Personally, I'm kinda sad that all these massive Lego sets like the AT-AT and the Millennium Falcon are so far out of reach of most people and kids. It was nice when Lego was a kids toy.
Still want though.

I am most disappointed that the big big sets of Star Wars seem to be a symphony in grey. The AT-AT is not at all becoming in its monochromatic dullness. When are we getting a massive Ghost set? That would be awesome

Home Alone has shipped. Going to be the best set EVER. And if two bumbling burglars try and break in to your home, you can leave pieces of it on the stairs to form part of an elaborate trap.

Does anyone remember the scene in Alias where Marshall basically survives a hit-team's attack on his house because he's more aware of where his kids have left their toys on the stairs? I'd link it, but Googling Alias and Marshall and Toys just brings up Paw Patrol

Hi all, I've been bitten by the Minifigure big after getting the castaway minifig and porky pig in blind bags recently.
I saw in here or in the old place someone had out them in a deep frame and it looked great.
If love to get the details of what was used etc

So I just paid £84 for the Ghostbusters ambulance from Argos, originally I bagged it for £96 (thanks to Joe Middleclass) but when I collected it the box had a crease down one side so they knocked some more off. Bargain!

Good work. I nearly bought but resisted. Got the Thanos Gauntlet for £32 so happy with that.

My son got the Ninjago Fire Dragon for xmas, so we spent most of boxing day afternoon building that. Well,he built it, I was on 'sorting out bits' duty. It's pretty badass, I must say. Bigger than it looks, and it can do some pretty cool poses either with its wings out, or with them folded back so it can walk on them. Had a lot more parts than I expected, because it was mainly lots of little bits. Once it gets broken I'm not sure it'll ever get made again, as it'll be a total pain in the arse to find all those bits in the Lego Drawer.

My son got 3 sets - Thanos' Gauntlet (which is amazing), and Hedwig and Faulkes from Harry Potter. All display pieces, which is all he wants to do with them

Kids got an X-Wing and Star Wars armoured transport. A Minecraft skull thing and another Minecraft one just turned up today so got to figure out who that one is for. The Mrs got the fancy Imperial Probe Droid if you know what I mean. Sadly my Saturn 5 rocket didn't make it to lift off.
lol, IE still no Saturn V for me.

Currently helping the stepdaughter with Diagon Alley.
She’s almost finished it. It’s 16 and she’s 9 but she’s very good at Lego. Just a few blarting sessions on the bits where she really wasn’t paying attention (or listening!).

Woah. My daughter would love that Diagon Alley set... but the price! I think this was the first year my daughter didn't get Lego, as she seems to have slightly aged out of it.. I'm a little sad about it and kinda wish I'd bought her some anyway. It's just that the sets that would probably have kindled her interest were all super pricey - so that's kind of a big gamble on something she might not be into.

I’ll let you (and only you) into a secret.
The Lego store at the Trafford Centre mistakenly let us have it for £230.
That’s what the price label said on the two they had in. UK/English law says that they absolutely did not have to sell it to us at that price, but they still did.
A moment of good fortune during a tough year.
The little ‘un also wants the Death Star, but she can bugger off!
