crowd footage of the faller at the first was on my twitter feed, horse was dead as soon as it hit the floor, not pleasant.

The thing is, the protests would have likely made the situation worse. Tej horses would have been so twitchy. That's not to say it was the cause but I di think it was a factor.

Managed to find time to put a bet on and then was called into a meeting so missed it! Managed a (non-place) 4th in the big one and a 2nd earlier in the card. At least the bookies took a beating in the GC...
