Where do we stand on mmo time cards? Brought a 60 day time card for FF14. Is it a 🎯 when it’s up or when I finish ARR?
Anyway, Started a new character. I had a character before but I had a hard time getting back into it last year so thought i start all over again. Was a tank but now gone lancer. Just seems far less stressful. Unfortunately had a bit of grief because I fucked up a few times on picking up the tank role again and forgetting certain things. People can be right pricks sometimes. I think they revamped ARR even more than what it was a couple years back. Already lvl 15 after a couple hours play.

OK, because of this fucking unrelenting peer pressure I went in a completed the first play through of Diablo II Resurrected today. Fuck you. Baal, you shittest of all bosses to play on a zoomed in bullshit resolution. Die in flames, fucko! Kicked on into Nightmare difficulty, and finished the first couple of quests. Then spent 20 minutes Horadric Cubing up all my jewels and organising my stashes, then I had a flash of 22 year younger me looking at me 22 years in the future doing LITERALLY THE SAME SHIT AGAIN and turned it off... ...and fired up Diablo 3.  I really think this treatment of Diablo II is one of the best things Blizzard have done in years. I really enjoyed it, and the aesthetics - blocky legacy layouts aside - absolutely shame Diablo 3. I'm now becoming incredibly hyped for Diablo 4, which looks like what we all hoped D3 would be. Hope the open world doesn't turn out to be shit. |

I take one short break to detox in the mountains, and this is the shitshow I return to.
Wooden spoons are being handed out like sweeties to the impulse uncontrolled amongst you who are sitting precipitously on five (FUCKING FIVE!) games at one time. I nearly spat the olive from my Martini all over the floor.
Plus a couple have gone to the Great Poop Emoji in the Sky (even though they probossibly could've converted to a lesser challenge had they desired!).
I've got my eye on the rest of you, too. A few on the ten game challenge who already look BROKEN at this halfway point. No way, literally no way, are they making it to the end. Well, not a happy ending anyway.

Time to finish off a few more games including DL2 i have on the go and i think i will have 5 left of the 10 game challenge after 8 months once i get them done.

I managed, bit by bit, to finish 🎯Wasteland 3 Colorado Collection a couple of weeks back.
Even though it took me a while to complete I really enjoyed this, much more than the second one. There's way less bugs, it runs and looks so much better and I think it only crashed twice in 100+ hours of gameplay. Some decent writing in there too, at times it had me laughing my head off. A shame there's unlikely to be a WL4 on PlayStation.

🎯 Horizon: Forbidden Beige
Pleased that I was able to blast through the second half of the campaign without needing to grind. Probably enjoyed the earlier, calmer, more funnelled parts of the game more than when the open world unfurled. Absolutely better in every way than the original, finally enjoyed the combat, but any game with that much FUCKING POINTLESS LOOT that lets me get to the end of the game using MY STARTING WEAPON probably needs to have a fucking word with itself. What a crock of shit.
It also committed the cardinal sin of giving out some of the best stuff right at the end of the game. WTF? Are you that certain I want a NG+ play through that you're just going to be shitting out new systems even in the final campaign mission? Bold. Stupid.
Anyways, as before the story is still the best part of this. I forced myself to play the game to get more of that. Platforming was inconsistent and unsatisfying, combat could be reduced to a fairly one-note approach if you just wanted to get through it, stealth was primitive at best, and the RPG elements were superfluous.
Looked OK, occasionally it even looked great, but very much tied to the old generation. Hopefully third time's the charm with a PS5-only closer for the trilogy that finally gets it right.

Still doing the ten game challenge, but a bit confused if this counts as obtained or not? Because of previous challenge rules, I have a library of PSN games which I never downloaded or started, just added to the library. Today I downloaded Rise of the Tomb Raider. Watched the newest film recently, and thought I fancy a game. I will be playing it to the end. Not that it will matter if it is added or not, it will be my second game this year.

Mostly revisiting the less broken battlefield 2042 of late. Probably should try to finish dying light 2, cod vanguard & halo infinite too, but i can't really be arsed.

Was about to add AC Valhalla to my list, then realised I bought it last year.
No change since 🔟 Resident Evil Village.
I’d say I was impressed with how much I saved by not buying games, but I’ve spent the cash on food and wine instead.
