🎯 F1 2021 Story mode, and 🎯 Donut County done! Back to back palate cleansers after Elden Ring to get me moving onto new games... ...and then I rolled another Elden Ring character. Hope you enjoyed donut county. Like a pleasant donut-y surprise, i found it short & sweet. |

I purchased 🦆Wasteland 3: Colorado Collection the other day when it was just under a tenner on a PS sale, so please add to a slot. I'll get round to it eventually, once my obsession with Elden Ring subsides 😄.

I'm out. Just bought Townscaper and Hades, started Minish Cap on the 3DS, and started playing Mario Maker 2 again. Completely bombed it this year. Still, over the last year and a half, I've bought very few games, so it's worked for me.

Game number 3 is on the cards. Its systems are shit, the MTX infesting it is disgusting yet I still like a bit of diablo and this is just easy access for a quick rift.

New game alert!
I have preloaded Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes for the Nintendo Switch.
That's three new games by mid-year. Not bad. Looking ahead, I'll get Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Pokémon Violet and Advance Wars if it ever gets released.

Haven't updated for a little while:
🎯Ace Combat 7. Yeah, a fun game and some nice details on the fighter jets and environments. It can be a bit frustrating at times with the time limits though, especially when you've got seconds left to destroy something, your missiles are on their way to the target but nope, you're out of time chum... Still, it was a nice change of scenery and genre after months of Elden Ring.
🦆Shadowrun Trilogy. Just bought this yesterday at the reduced pre-order price on PS store and will start it after I've worked through the excellent Wasteland 3, which had me in the mood for more CRPG goodness. I've played SR Returns before, on mobile of all places, and enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to doing the full trilogy soon and glad they've finally come to console.

Well that is me down and out of the 10 game challenge.
I bought the Arcade Archives titles Kōtetsu Yōsai Strahl and Aero Fighters 2 in the latest PS sale since I intend to play them in my mondo shmup Odyssey later (doing them all by original release date). It seemed the sensible thing to do as the arcade archives games never usually go on sale.
To really hammer the stake home, I also bought Prey and Code Vein in the sale too.
Another Pigwhip failure. Good luck to the rest of you all. TBH I'm not sure my Shmup Odyssey plan fits with the Pigwhip ideals very well!

Needed something to zone out to, fancied me some nostalgia, so: 🦆Diablo II: Resurrected (SX) Really, really enjoying it so far. It has all the rough edges that Diablo III smoothed over, but I love how they've remastered it and it feels amazing on the joypad. Not quite the connection I got from keyboard and mouse, but more than good enough. Wasn't really trying and managed to pound through Act 1 with my Druid this morning. Let this month I'll have to 🦆Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels DLC, since I bought the season pass at the back end of last year when the game launched. Quite looking forward to it actually. |

Finished 🎯 xenoblade yesterday. Took me a few goes to get into it, but glad I eventually did. Character and story really drive the game. Gets a little battle heavy towards its end which I could have done without (plus the need to grind in the last chapter), but it doesn’t really disminish my enjoyment of the game. Preferred the second one but I guess it’s a newer game and my first xenoblade so to speak.
Not sure what I will pick up next.
