Failed. Ended up throwing my final guess just so I could find out what the arsing word was. Only ever managed to get the first and fourth letters, with every other letter I tried not in the word at all.
Would share my grid, but still getting a "Sharing failed" error everytime I try.

It was tough today I thought. If I hadn't had an epiphany for the final guess I would never have got it. For some reason that word just never really occurred to me naturally.

I just introduced this to my colleagues and their first guess was PENIS Two different vowels and an S on the end, it's a strong opening guess. Apparently (i googled as i was wondering) plurals have been in the previous answer list (they are definitely in the valid word list, but the two may be different). There hasn't been one yet in 2022 though so there are suspicions the word choice is being curated away from those to make it more difficult as statistically S has got to be the most likely final letter. |
