itvX is a rebranded itvHub.
Seems to have a few more movies than itvHub used to have, but it's otherwise basically the same.
Except that for me it refuses to resume anything after an ad break, so after every ad break i have to restart from the beginning and then fast-forward to where I was. Which is annoying as hell.
That might be only me though.

I swear the other day John wick was on prime. About three weeks ago I watched the first onee then one week ago I watched 2 on prime and last night I watched 3. The first 2 must have only just left the service.

It must be because the new one is out. Makes no sense. First one is almost ten years old, so probably fair to have them up so younger audience can see it.

They take the prequels off so those wanting to catch up before the new one will be more willing to pay a few quid to rent it

1 & 2 were definitely on Prime a couple of weeks ago but now off by the looks of it - 3 is still on there. Shame for anyone fancying a Keanu binge before the cinema.

Yeah that's a pain they had all been on multiple services until very recently as I watched the first the other week and like others was hoping to catch up on the next two.
Makes sense so get more money from people I suppose but as I swear they only arrived recently on there it's a bit of a kick in the nuts.

Over here they always stick the existing movies on regular TV when there's a new one coming out, as a form of advertising.
I haven't checked, but I'd put money on John Wick being on TV tomorrow night or next week.
I guess services which also rent out movies don't have the incentive to do that.

It's okay. Dog dies, man gets pissed off. Kills 278 people in cool ways.
Second one man gets back car, goes home to live in peace. House blown up with grenade launcher. Kills someone important for get out again. Then kills 378 people but this time in some nice locations like Italy. Also shows him killing multiple people with a pencil, a fucking pencil. Then he kills someone important in the hotel, which is a big no no. Allowed to escape.
3. Moody short haired woman with all the attitude tries to insist Jonny boy must die. Jonny goes on a nice trip to Morocco and meets a lovely lady with more dogs. Everything going well until a dog is shot so then he has to kill 478 people. Oh and there are horses that kick. Enemies get leveled up and now turn up in body armour. Ends with Mr wick teaming up with Mr red or blue pill to take out the high table.

It’s more likely that the tv networks will pay for broadcasting rights while the hype train is at full speed in order to sell advertising slots at an inflated price, rather than to kindly promote the new film for the studio

Just back from seeing it and Holy Crap. One of the greatest action movies I've ever seen. The set piece that ends the first act would be the finale of any other movie. But no, it ramps up from there.

I seem to be the only person in the world that thinks he looks like a decrepit old man in these too. I started watching 3 last night and it's so painfully obvious he's much slower and weaker than the stuntmen he's fighting. Just no snap to anything he does.

Dunno if it's because I've spent quite a bit of time in boxing gyms that it bothers so much. You kind of learn how to spot who's hitting hard and fast just from seeing them punch a few times. He just looks like a creaky old guy in them to me.

2 felt like it was never meant to be an Equaliser film and at the last minute they rewrote Denzels character into it.
