I feel like it could even be used in place of a special weapon and still have anti-barrier. Of course, if you gotta use up an exotic slot like that, it might as well be Arbalest. Special ammo is not that hard to come by.

The mission with the Radial Mast Radial Mast Veil Radial Mast hurry Veil Radial Mast, which admittedly has a cool arena to fight in has infinitely spawning war dogs next to the two raised platforms and taken centurions in the middle. Radial Mast
If they aren’t infinitely speaking they certainly spawn on a thirty or so second timer for a very, very long time. I checked.

I played the campaign on my hunter last night, it's lame. There's actually only 5 missions really anyway.

Radial Mast I didn't mind that mission though, the endlessly spawning ads are nowhere enough to overwhelm you (if you get rid of everyone else, the only respawning ones are the weak-ass dogs and the centurions pretty far away), meanwhile they at least keep you on your toes. I was more annoyed that the final escape sequence forced me to sit again through thirty seconds of dialogue whenever I died. Which was a lot. Any way of getting the Scourge of the Past sparrow today?

They weren’t a problem, just an embarrassment. Infinite respawns is so 1997.
I did like how during the escape the ads were apparently made of anti matter, causing to immediately explode if you ran into one.

It's not too clear because at that time you are running at full speed, but Caiatl's ships were bombing the area.

Heads up, visit the gulch in EDZ to find a new secret exotic mission. That took... a while. 101 minutes, to be precise.

Really enjoyed that exotic quest. Wasn't quite a Presage level offering but it had really good enemy density throughout with a couple of mechanics to figure out along the way.
I'd normally get bored of running something like that weekly but I can see me using it to test out builds and finish catalysts such is the amount of enemies to burn through.

It was interesting, both for lore reasons and for the enemy density, but my god, who thought those encounters were a good idea? The first encounter, while not hard, takes so long to get through. And since there are so many enemies, it's well possible to make a mistake and die, and have to restart from the beginning. The final boss has almost raid boss health, plus the second phase in particular is an absolute slog - again, not hard, but it seems specifically designed to slow you down to a halt. The only truly hard part was the final phase (kind of a nightmare for real, I was sweating by the end). We can get a chest in the legendary version, if you complete the post-mission quest. The first one is very easy, I imagine the next ones not so much. Especially because I can't see myself beating the legendary mission by myself. Or even with others. Also, anyone knows what this purple thing right after the first encounter is supposed to do? imgur.com/H2KobQq

I'd imagine it will be something to do with one of the Catalysts or a triumph or something.
Checkpointing was a bit stingy on the first encounter. I accidentally jumped down into the abyss when the Wyverns spawned right at the end. Tough luck mate, back 2 sets of mechanics you go.
Used Stasis for the first section. My constant turrets basically froze everything while I trotted around finding codes and punching them in. Used an Arc Soul build after that and it worked really well. Only hairy but was when the boss started rushing you in his third phase, Pyramidion much?

I had my typical Void Titan build, which works really well this season thanks to the Volatile Flow mod. You can keep up Devour pretty much all the time.
Huckleberry was great for the first two encounters, then I switched to a long range setup for the final boss. The last phase was still very dangerous.

The boss broke for me and just left the arena on my first try. Gonna try legend at lunch. Regular was very manageable with strand suspend warlock.

I tell you what though, that Mars Battleground is absolute dog shit with the new changes to difficulty. Even on Hero you need to be tuned up to the gills to manage which is frankly ridiculous considering you get a couple of shards from it. The GM version will be getting done once if that.

Are there any differences in higher difficulties? I thought it was weird that even on Hero mode, there are no darkness zones at all.

Haven't tried the harder difficulties but typically GMs are darkness zone for the entire NF anyway and a team wipe returns you to orbit. Plus extra champs, modifiers etc.

Looks like they've disabled that Tangle reload fragment. I know it probably wasn't the intention to allow those cancel reloads but DPS checks are stingy enough as is in these things.

There's a free emblem if you watch any of the partner streams for at least two hours. Well, it's nice to get something out of it. I don't have the skills nor the team to try contest mode anyway.

I assumed it was going to get the disable treatment, tbh. I imagine LFRs will still be the way to go for moving bosses and rockets for stationary.

Raid has been cleared, but it doesn't look like anything's changed in the game world. That's disappointing.
