Most of my shit from my main, Void build is still from when the Slowva Bomb, Skull of Dire Ahamkara build was ridiculously OP and granted supers pretty much constantly. Just tweaked a little and swapped out the helmet for Nezerac's Sin.
I really should update but the time cost of saving up materials outweighs any benefit to doing it, really as I don't really ever struggle to keep up in any activities. I've got shitloads of armour saved that I keep meaning to upgrade and sort out. Maybe I'll go for a clean slate when Witch Queen lands, delete the lot of it and start afresh.

Most of my stuff is relatively spikey gear from the previous seasons' rewards. Pretty much aimed for 90 recovery and tried to get other stuff up where relevant (disc on grenade builds etc), but didn't lose too much sleep over perfect stats and didn't bother replacing anything due to the masterwork cost.
Masterwork a few exotics this season and last when I got better rolls, but that's about it.

I have a ton of Masterworked armour (MWing it gives +2 to all stats) and various builds to make my stats as optimal as possible for different exotics. The D2 Armor Picker website helped with that a lot. I redid them all after the intellect nerf too. I just hit apply on any of these and DIM swaps out the armour pieces and mods for me. There's tons of different pieces here but I mostly use reuse the same ornaments.

I’ve long been meaning to do a sort of my vault. I have a habit of tossing anything that may be interesting, yet not in a pressing manner, in there for later examination. Which obviously never happens.
Doing some build crafting is also on the list. I’ve a Gambit set and general PvE set but want to build a stasis PvE suite for mass crystal madness.
I’d love if one of the inventory sites crafted an Alexa skill; Alexa, “Gambit armor on” would be the tits.
“Alexa, stop, fucking stop!” as Arina Grande plays

That's pretty nifty. I haven't really played since they took away the glimmer cost to allow mod switching via API.
My vault is completely full of utter rubbish that I "might keep, but I'll double check it later" Went through it before sunsetting was due to come in and got rid of a lot of stuff, but it's full again now ("is:dupe" etc in DIM was handy for the last clearout)

I have a habit of deleting stuff I don't need, so my vault is mostly empty, aside from all those currency stacks and whatnot. The only other things I've kept are some old Solstice armor and the Forge weapons (always thought I'd do a Niobe Labs run, but since it's impossible now, I could well delete them).

I've always kept non-exotic armour out of the vault but I've got a full 9 slots on my Warlock of high stat-rolled stuff waiting to be sorted out. I'm fairly certain I did the exact same thing before Beyond Light, had a purge just before the expansion released and have now ended up in the exact same position again.

This can help with vault management. It picks through your vault and suggests things for deletion, and then spits out a DIM query at the end that you can paste in and it'll highlight the stuff you selected so you can delete it in game: destinyrecipes.com/vaultThe d2 armour picker website also has "armor clustering" as a tab which will bundle together armor pieces with similar rolls for you. You can export it as a DIM query as above too. d2armorpicker.com/#/clusterMy vault is relatively heavily curated armour wise so it's maybe 1/6 to 1/3 of the 300 things in there. The rest is allll guns. Also: If you don't have it, Ada-1 is selling Protective Light today which is one of the best and staple mods to use in hard content. 2 energy void mod that basically gives you massively increased defense when your shields are destroyed if you are charged with light.

Yeah cheers. I think I'm going to have a bit of a purge tonight and start using that. I've got all sorts of clutter I really need to start either keeping and using, or binning off. It's even started bleeding into my postmaster's inventory which I've historically kept completely empty.

My postmaster is historically just 50 enhancement prisms and 10 ascendant shards. Or at least it was until making one of each dawning cookie accidentally pushed my stack of shards out. Having to build that up again. Back up to 5

Oh, I can only imagine the choice words when you saw that that had happened.
Also cheers for the links. It's pissing freezing rain outside and I'm not working. Sounds like a good time for a few cups of tea and some destiny management

Yeah I could do with building a surplus of those materials too. I've always been too frivolous with them, especially Ascendant Shards which I just can't help but spend on any old shite as soon as I get my hands on them.

Oops
I just completed my first solo master list sector
I’ve been playing this game since D1 came out. Never really taken it as anything but a casual charge in and gun everything down game before
I’ll still do that but am also taking my time abs making use of mods and armor setups, rather than just going ‘eh, that’ll do’
Even more enjoyable now

I remember seeing here a few days ago people needed to do the mission variant of The Corrupted. I've just clocked that I've still got that sat in my tracker incomplete from years ago, so I'm happy to team up to get that done if it's still needed.

Tried the new dungeon with the boy before giving up at the first boss as it was getting a little too infuriating. Anyone tried it?

If you want another rather inept player to help out, gimme a bell online.

Cheers, we're going to give it a few more tries together first. I take it that it's definitely possible with just 2 people?

I need to do a catalyst run for Gjally too. Have barely had any time to put into the game since the dungeon launched.
Will be on a bit this week mopping some stuff up I think, Bungie name is Solid-SCB-#6162 if anyone wants to team up.

Cheers, we're going to give it a few more tries together first. I take it that it's definitely possible with just 2 people? Yeah, though you're going to have a tougher time. I've managed it Solo, though it took me a few hours. I'm planning to try a solo flawless run at some point. Your best bet for damage against the ogre is going to be Linear Fusion Rifles with the Particle Deconstruction mod from the artifact on (LFRs work best on both major bosses of the dungeon, Sleeper Simulant works best if you have it). If one of you is a warlock you can stick a well of radiance down around where the left room you can open up is and blast away from in there with relative safety. Thing is unless you're routinely doing endgame stuff like GMs or doing Day 1 raiding there's not a huge need to have builds ready, I guess.

I find it well handy to have my gambit setup - mostly sword mods with some targeting- and a general PvE one, the another for doing stuff which needs LFR kill power.
Really hoping to get some more stasis weapons and some decent stasis legs
And a lot more ascendant shards

GM Nightfalls are pretty much the best way to get those shards. Particularly this week, Lake of Shadows despite having a billion champions is probably the easiest one and you can run it in 15 minutes. 15 minutes per ascendant shard ain't bad. But it takes quite a bit of building and having the right mods so you don't get deleted by adds. Have to turn my frame limiter down to 60 so that some of the attacks don't completely destroy me (things like taken blight balls, knight fire attacks etc do increased damage at high frame rates...) I got some amusing clips from yesterdays runs. streamable.com/98htqsstreamable.com/3p6gpd

My power level is stuck at 1442 right now. I tried Shadow last night but could tell it was going to be an exercise in frustration.
I need to be running some raids. Not just for loot but for fun. Last raid I did was Eater.
As me and the kid are going to be at home for a while quarantining I reckon I’ll find time to do some LFG and get some raids under my belt

The discord you joined for the dungeon run is good for raiding. They do new player raids relatively often. Or if people just ask.

Despite [occasionally] playing D2, I barely understand a word in this thread I'm trying to play through the Forsaken quest before it fucks off.
