Yep, probably just using existing archetypes that you can already get better rolls for like Gridskipper Vs the FotL one.

We're halfway through a 6 month content drought and player numbers are falling off. What better way to get people back in and spending money than making the new stuff shit hot?

Did another Trials of Osiris flawless last night. Probably the easiest one I've ever gotten, weirdly for this point in the season and with split MM pools.

So with Super regeneration via Intellect being nerfed into oblivion, what does the Intellect stat even do anymore, except veery slowly recharging your Super?
Why not tie the class ability cooldown to that stat, instead of making it class-dependent? There are three abilities, they each have their own cooldown, they are presented as three abilities on the HUD, why not make Intellect the class ability stat? And while they're at it they could put them in the same order (Intellect last).

Fuck, they went and nerfed my Shield Bash so hard. And also increased the cooldown timer. Guess I'll use another subclass... oh wait, they have all had their timer increased. Geez.
They also massively increased the cooldown timer on suppression grenades. Woe is me. The extra damage is worthless, I wanna be able to throw more grenades, not less.
Why doesn't Bungie want my punchy explodey space wizard to throw more punches and explode more explodey things?

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on it after an hour. I got to the 3x horse bounties step of the firearm quest and just called it a day
Core activity doesn't seem all that replayable (although I always say that and then come back and rinse it). The "humour" of this activity feels like it was lifted from a shit version of Borderlands or something (so Borderlands 3...)
I was toying with the idea of grabbing the mega deluxe bundle, but think I'll pass on it and get the cheapest version of WQ if it reviews well. All the more time for playing other games!

The magnum is pretty beastly but I'm not sure I'd use it as my special.
Arbalest catalyst doesn't look that great, but might as well get these 500 kills anyway.

Really enjoyed that dungeon. Nice combination of puzzles and boss mechanics.

Honestly, I thought it was probably the weakest dungeon the game's had. It's certainly the most accessible in terms of mechanics/difficulty, but... eh. The platforming/trap stuff is a load of nothing on a repeat play, the first boss is very simple, the shield encounter is very tedious and the end boss is also pretty simplistic.
Think the thing just needs more adds, but maybe it'll be more interesting on Legend.
I think the activity is great though.

Eh, we're not all 1337 gamerz. It was a really enjoyable first time experience with lots of nice callbacks to their previous games. Really cool bit of mid-season meat.

As I said, it's a fun first time through but as a repeatable thing I feel like it's going to be a bit tedious for a grind. The two bosses are barely more complex than a strike boss, so it's not even a 1337 gamer thing, really. Something a little more involved would have been nice if I'm gonna be in there grinding out rolls. It's fun enough, bar the shield encounter which was tedious even by the third run.
By contrast, Prophecy is also fairly easy but it feels like it's got a bit more mechanical meat to it to stop it getting stale.
Speaking of dungeon matchmaking, I wouldn't even consider mm for the previous ones but this one you could easily do with randoms.

I mean, a third run in less than 24hrs on an activity that hasn't even unlocked repeat loot drops properly yet might be why you're feeling slightly jaded on it tbh. I definitely would too.
It's just a bit of fun for between now and Witch Queen. It's far more thoughtful than I'd have ever given it credit for in the run up. Cool loot, enjoyable activity, really good dungeon. Bungie done good. Really makes me positive for Witch Queen's chances of being good.

I got repeat drops on my runs as it was 1 per character.
I like the themeing etc, it's just the encounters could have been a bit more imaginative. Grab stuff and stand by a thing is just a bit ehhhh. Second encounter could be great, it just doesn't have nearly enough adds and getting around is a bit tedious.
