Haven't spent anything yet. Which is lucky as my next Cafe mission is to upgrade one of my cars and I will probably piss the lot up the wall on it.

What did people buy with their preorder credits? I went for the Integra Type R. The 100,000? Think I'm going to hang on to it for when the game gets grindy and wafts microtransactions in my face. |

Oh yeah, I bought the Mazda but that was only 12k I think. Got given a Clio after one of the events last night which was a decent step up and has pissed through a few other events without needing to buy anything else yet. |

The menu missions seem to be quite good for taking you to events that win cars that can then be used in the next batch of races.
I think I'll save up for a bit and buy something spicy.

Ha! During a race, go to options, view options or whatever, camera perspective. There’s an alternate cockpit view mode that shifts the whole perspective, and the game tells you with a pop up window that you’re supposed to sit behind the wheel rather than the middle of the TV. At work now so I can’t tell you the exact steps/names, sorry Yeah it's interesting, not sure I'll stick with it though. It's called Offset, under Adjust cockpit view > Orientation. |

Fuck's sake, won the first race and it gave me the Honda Fit I'd already bought. Give me one of the other two! I think you've got to do all three starter missions anyway, you're kind of on a tutorial. |

What did people buy with their preorder credits? I went for the Integra Type R. I skipped the 3 hatches and went for the Mitsu Evo V. The hatches were all given as rewards for the first three (easy) races. I have enough to get the Integra now as well, may as well. |

They've nailed the track conditions too. I wasn't expecting the difference between a dry and wet track to be quite as well done as it is.

Put in an hour this morning. Done the music rally thing on the pad, the haptics are really good. The intro was so long I managed to set up my wheel and stand before it finished and it plays really well. I'm not that well versed in sim racing so I can't say what it is like compared to other games, but really enjoyed the little I have played on It.

I don't seem to have the pre-order credits either, but do have the cars, pre-ordered on web.
Did an intro music rally, the first menu in the café, and then onto the license last night. Gold on everything except the penultimate licence event which I only silvered, the races were done first try but some of the licenses took a few goes.
Really missing the breaking cones from Sport, the flashing warning to shift down catches peripheral vision, but it's less precise.
It looks great and the menus are a lot better than recent releases, and yes, the loading has been transformative this gen but especially here. It's going to be frustrating playing online with PS4 mates if it takes them ages to load in tracks though.
Did have the game crash, got stuck on a black screen with music playing in the background. Had to completely quit and reload, panic as I thought my save had been lost as the intro kicked in again, but thankfully could skip after a few seconds and all was well.

If you haven't got the credits straight away, apparently some people are getting them the next time they boot the PS5 up from rest mode and launching the game again.

You can get some decent credits from doing circuit experiences too, so don't sleep on them.
