Oof the fast cars are a handful. Just tried a time trial in one of the pre-order bonus cars and it wasn't fucking about. I've turned off the anti slide correction thing as well which is on by default for some reason. Itching to give it a go with the wheel.
Disappointed they've lost the cone markers from Sport though. It's a much more natural way of learning the track than dirty big markers.

This morning is the closest I think I've ever been to pulling a sickie just to sit and play a new computer game all day. It's fucking brilliant. Seems to be everything I wanted from it from the hour or so I played.

The loading is an absolute godsend. GT has always felt like a bit of a chore to play because of the cumbersome menus and slow loading. But a few clicks and you can be in a race in seconds. Can't be overstated how much that improves the overall experience.

Is it my imagination or are the licence tests quite a bit harder than in GT Sport. Got my National B last night but golding it took awhile on a couple of them.
I see other people recognised the GTO from GT1, that was cool.

Ha! During a race, go to options, view options or whatever, camera perspective. There’s an alternate cockpit view mode that shifts the whole perspective, and the game tells you with a pop up window that you’re supposed to sit behind the wheel rather than the middle of the TV. At work now so I can’t tell you the exact steps/names, sorry |
