It’s going to be a Higgins O Sullivan final with Higgins losing something like 18-11 and o Sullivan whining about how little he cares again. Sigh. The youngsters coming through really need to get rid of that generation but the interest just isn’t there anymore I don’t think to find the next Hendry etc. Too busy staring at tik tok etc.

I reckon Wilson is capable of pulling back, he's just having a bad session at the moment.
Also Si is showing promise. Not enough to win the whole thing just yet, perhaps.
This tournament does feel pretty open, to me. Mark Allen looks the best he ever has. Brecel looks like he's suddenly figured it out as well. McGill has turned up from of his usual 11 month hibernation and looks capable of making it to the semis at least.
It is a sport that is truly suffering from a lack of young players though. Especially now with so many of them having just been banned.

It is amazing the class of 92 is still winning lots, I think this is where we can all agree that snooker is not a "sport" in the traditional sense. I would take snooker in 80's over this any day. |
