Agreed - BBQ sauce on a pizza (or in general) is bleurgh. Sugary gloop. But it's especially bad on pizza. BBQ base pizza is one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted. |

That I've had BBQ pizza and it was great? Much like with your pasta point, maybe you haven't had good BBQ sauce... BBQ sauce covers a much wider range than just "sugary mess", there's tangy, smoky and everything in between. If it was all sweet of course I wouldn't like it, but plenty of BBQ sauces fit with a pizza's flavour profile. There's a reason barbeque chicken pizza is so popular, and it's not just the chicken... |

The problem people make with Hawaiian pizzas is not also adding chilli. In fact, pizza in general should always have chilli. Dried, sliced, oil or all three.
