To be fair to her, she'll just have a lawyer who actually knows the law and wont force you to cop a plea. There are about a thousand loopholes and most celebs will be trained how to deal with the police without placing their rights and liberties directly in the coppers hands. (See Amir Khan for example.) Still doesn't absolve her from being an entitled wench who clearly has little respect for her and other people's lives. Yeah, fair. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to absolve her from anything and certainly not from her responsibilities. She's clearly a completely selfish idiot. It's just part of me is a bit sad to see any human being in such an obvious mess. Apologies if my post made out as if you had. I was explaining how the mechanism must work for these celebs to get away with repeated acts like these. And the implication was that despite their ability to to walk away from these charges, it doesn't absolve them from their incredibly selfish and often dangerous acts! I'll get back on top by saying I too think that David Attenborough the person is also a preachy old git who I have no doubt is a massive hypocrite every time he points his finger at us for climate change. Though I will seperate his character from his wildlife shows which are some of the best television around.

On an entirely unrelated point I’ve still got a jazz mag somewhere featuring Katie (Jordan) Price on the cover pre cosmetic enhancements
Probably worth £5 now if I cleaned it up a little

Yeah, she has no right to a celebrity status at all. Being known for cheering on your son really isn't a thing. Worked for Mary

John Cleese, whose descent into a complete and utter twat continues apace. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-59681167Fancy, being famous and super vocal about something, then being asked about it. Poor John. Do the gammons have a god-emperor? Perhaps this is all some kind of weird performance art by way of application for the post...

A good discussion was had by all.

Wow, he fully pinked up for that interview I didn't know what you meant until I saw that picture. Holy shit, you could actually slice off a bit of his head for Christmas lunch.

I watched that interview, seems pretty obvious the interviewer had an agenda beforehand, if he's asked for an interview for him to publicise his upcoming tour and the interviewer is intent on trying to provoke him why should he get drawn in?

Are the BBC obliged to promote his show?

Are the BBC obliged to promote his show? I don't how how these things work but if they say that's why they want to interview him then maybe. Have you watched the interview? She struck me as ignoring everything he said in his first answer and merely moved onto her next scripted question.

Yeah. Agree with him or not, it's unprofessional. I remember there was an interview with RDJ that went viral some years ago, where he was there to promote one of the Marvel movies, and the interviewer wanted to shift the subject to his time in prison. That wasn't what RDJ agreed to come in for, so he just got up and walked out of the interview as well.
If you want to have specific discussions with someone, you can, but you need to give them a headsup first. The Gotcha! bait and switch interview is bad form.

Yeah she opened about his recent things about cancel culture, because that's happened recently. He then asks if she is going to ask about his show in Singapore, so she does, and it transpires that there isn't anything to say about that as it's not even been written properly yet. Then he says that it'll be a bit about cancel culture type stuff and waits for her to ask another question, to which she follows up the last point he made and he thinks that that's somehow an agenda. It's all a bit weak

Does RDJ constantly harp on about his time in prison? Does he make it part of his shows?
It's been a theme for for Cleese for a while now and he makes a big fuss of it, including apparently, in his recent stage shows.
It's entirely relevant and he's still a twat.

Yeah, just finished watching it. Nevermind, he was being a cunt. From the jump with the "but why do you say but, why not just explore my answer a bit?". Isn't that what she was doing by giving a followup question? And then the "nobody wants to listen, everybody wants to be right" comment later describes himself.

That interview is depressing. He seems like a confused old man. How is he in any condition to do an international standup tour?

Seeing as we’re plumbing the depths of Z list celebs now, AJ / Curtis Pritchard (I’m not sure which one is which) really fucking irritate me. I can’t believe it was ever possible to get a poundshop Jedward, but there you are. I’m actually ashamed I even recognise them.
There was a gogglebox where one of them did a stand up gig on it - if I had ever died that hard on stage I’d have killed myself. Why don’t people feel shame anymore?
Gemma Collins can fuck off as well.

I had hoped this was Mike Brewer wife of wheeler dealers fame. As he seems a bit of a twat. Although again I like the show. But alas no.

Gemma Collins - Hatefull in every possible way.
Gino D'acampo - Convicted burglar (lovelingly referred to as ex-bad boy in the media) turned poor celebrity chef
Cheryl - Girl band member convinced of racially agrivated assault of a toilet attendant, turned darling of the nation.
In fact all celebrities who are clearly awful or deeply flawed, but painted as fun characters or something to aspire to because they look nice.

I don't care about how much money and emphasis is put on the internet, I refuse to think of internet people as celebrities.
I don't like Kristen Bell cause she gave me a dirty look once.
