Not sure the judge and jury will appreciate those defamatory statements Bredehoft made on Heard's behalf there.

Also, it's ok for people to think that this was the wrong result. I've read reactions from legal experts I trust who thought it was iffy. Others thought it was fine. Disagreement is to be expected!
I guess we'll find out in the appeal who the REAL victim was.

The real victim is the turd. Weaponised and dragged out in front of the world's media when all it wanted was a trip round the u-bend and a peaceful retirement in an oxidation pond.

I could really do without the shitty reaction videos, they're a large part of what made this whole thing such an exhausting trainwreck.

I guess we'll find out in the appeal who the REAL victim was. This is part of the problem. It's actually ok to not know, or to be aware that nothing is ever that black and white. The trouble is everyone wants to have the 'right' opinion and gets all emotional and defensive and black and white about it. Ultimately only those two involved know the truth, heavily filtered through their own perceptions/bias/character flaws. Having said all that, I know which way I've been leaning throughout. But luckily there's always been a part of my character that's very much aware of the difference between knowing something and thinking something.

Number of TikTok views of #justiceforjohnnydepp about 18 billion. In polls, more Americans were interested in this trial than the war in Ukraine or the upcoming supreme court vote on abortion. Yay people!

I don't know if that's what anephric meant but those kinds of video definitely exist. Basically YT gossip and drama commentary

I've seen the reaction videos to trailers, shows and what not but not that.
I liked the videos to the Red Wedding in GoT. Once that blew up reaction videos the ones I saw after just reeked of staged OTT nonsense.

Yup, YouTubers feuding with other YTers and then reaction vids commenting on those, then a 'history' vid summing it all up, then a reaction vid for that, then some more drama from the original cunts, ad infinitum.
It's like an enormous shitty snake swallowing its own shitty turd of a tail, with people making a good living out of it.
To quote Christopher Walken, it's kerrazyyy.

I can't find an emoji for that expression that's just sodden with disappointment, while you raise your lip in faint disgust as your shoulders slump in the horrid realisation that this is it. Here it is. Civilisation. It has, apparently, peaked.

The really said thing is that whilst I haven't stooped to "reactor to reacts to reaction" levels yet, I do spend a fair bit of time, especially drunk, watching "reaction" videos to music or clips of shows I've enjoyed. There is a weird sense of enjoyment in finding somebody who agrees with your views. Validation is quite useful in this socially isolated age.
But this search for validation is how I think all this reactor nonsense has came to pass.
The internet has supercharged things, and sometimes the things that are accelerated are inconsequential. Sometimes they're not. But as a species we're still fumbling around with tools that we don't fully understand the consequences of.
