She was like a candle in the wind: unreliable. If this is an Xbox exclusive (no PC) I might just have to buy a new console. Fable and Fable 2 were great. Very few blockbuster games have British humour. Ayoade's involvement is a game changer given I trust him not to have got himself involved in anything humiliatingly bad. Has anything been exclusive to XBox and had no PC release? I just assumed everything shown at the showcase was coming to PC as well.

AFAIK all first-party games come to PC as well. I'm pretty sure that's their whole policy now. Most (all?) have "Play Anywhere" features on Game Pass.

I used to really love Molyneux and all his batshit swing-for-the-fences ideas; he was like the British Kojima. And the games he worked on were frequently extraordinary, from his early Bullfrog days right up to the Xbox (Fable II is probably still my favourite Xbox game).
But all the stuff since he formed 22 Cans has been weird, sort of derivative, and occasionally problematic. I don't think I'll ever have the affection for him that I did ten, twenty, thirty years ago, but I do hope he can make at least one genuinely great game again. Reading over that blog, it's interesting to see his thought process as he goes back over the past and mulls future ideas.
Although I do wonder if he's even allowed to set a game in "Albion" anymore.

I really enjoyed reading the blog; thanks for posting it here.
I've always had a soft spot for Peter, and have a great deal of respect for his achievements.
I even genuinely enjoyed my time with Curiosity: What's Inside The Cube?
I think a lot of the problems that surround him (and it touched me deeply when he mentioned mental health issues following press articles) do stem from the "angry-young-man-entitled-gamer" phenomenon.
I'm happy to let the guy have his crazy ideas, create whatever comes, and allow us to enjoy his worlds once more.
I do feel bad for the chap who "won" Curiosity, but honestly don't believe that the situation was entirely Peter's fault (whilst accepting that he was, of course, ultimately responsible for it still).
I hope that he produces something amazing, surprising, enlightening.
I also have this urge to return to Fables 1 and 2 suddenly – they're a damned sight better than Starfield...

It can’t be that Albion (unless he’s bought rights to it) but it can be an Albion as that’s just an old other name for Britain.
