Adelaide Test. Jimmy Anderson is in instead of Wood. Looks likely Broad won't play if they go for Woakes ahead of Broad because of Woake's batting and worries about needing more batting in the tail (which on recent performances of the England top order, they are going to need....).
They should find a way to play both Wood and Anderson imo.
Looking forward to being able to watch or listen to a bit more of this one live as it's a day/night with a 4am UK start.

I don't know I think being able to see some of it is worse.
In the last test I woke up every morning and thought "Oh fuck".
In this test, I'll do exactly the same thing, but then actually watch us getting pumped.
Anyone want to wager what Burns/Hameed will accumulate over 2 innings? I'm going 23 runs.

I’m probably being a pessimist, but I doubt Root and Silverwood will retain their positions after this tour. Can’t gamble with the whole year of touring and make it all about peaking for the Ashes when… this.
