I think they just became too conservative as results didn't go their way. Retreated into themselves rather than playing to our strengths.

Leach is absolutely terrible, such a one dimensional finger spinner straight out of the 80s, I don't think Baz will stick with him for long. Parkinson is ok, but suffers from the standard leg spinner problem of bowling a pie too often. There are no other decent spinners at county with the experience and skill of Rashid, he is now top class, and can also do a job at number 8. |
