Without having seen it to know how they put that argument across it doesn’t feel like a huge stretch, rapey-jock bro attitudes were one of the worst things about nu-metal once it really blew up between 99-02

Nu metal was a big pile of steaming shite.
Fred Durst always seemed like a massive c-unit, so I don't think i have an issue with this documentary and it's stance.

Am trying to watch Skys F1 Race to Perfection to get me it the mood for the final F1 race this season (Shitshow that it was)
My God WTF is this, they squandered priceless and fascinating historical footage of F1 racing in a spew of seemingly random events in F1 history. I will have to force myself to finish this absolute waste of a Doc

The Rescue (Disney+ film) 9/10
Really fascinating account of the rescue of the Thai football team trapped deep underground in flooded caves from 2018. It’s very well done by Nat Geographic and you feel like you’re transported there with an impossible mission. It was a massive operation, filmed as the World watched with an incredibly brave and resourceful team to get them out. Very highly recommended

One thing the Woodstock doc doesn’t say is that the music was bad. The music does that all for itself. They open it up with My Own Worst Enemy by Lit for God’s sake.
To be fair, while it can be argued it’s us looking back and tutting at a very different time, they’re not wrong to give a lot of attention it around angry white men who were petulant over having to share their MTV. Because now those dickheads are running the show over there now and the country is straight up fucked.

This came up in my YouTube recommendations. I have absolutely no idea why, but it was fascinating.

Tickled
Kiwi Louis Theroux investigates the sport of competitive endurance tickling. It's a bizarre and engrossing story that doesn't go where you'd initially think.
Available to rent on usual platforms.

Chris Packham Is It Time To Break The Law? (All4)
Packham is angry about climate change and wants to ask the big questions. But by the end he doesn’t really give many answers and on the evidence he presents I can’t really make up my mind either. He does at least manage to get across why the people who do protest illegally do it on an emotional level so that’s good.
Although I suppose the real problem isn’t the lack of conclusions, its that literally not one person who needs convincing about green issues will even consider watching a programme like this. The whole thing is an expression of navel gazing within the movement, passionate yes but mostly inward looking.

The Dark, Sad Life of Boogie2988 (YouTube)
I expect that a few people on here have heard of this guy and have watched his content but I’d never heard of him until today
I’ve only watched the first 30 minutes out of a 55 minute running time but wow what a complete bellend. There’s no way he’s getting back to where he was
It doesn’t show much of his content but I’ve no idea why he was popular as he hasn’t got any likeable characteristics
