Started filling this in, thought I was doing great in the first couple of rows, but then hit a brick wall against most of the rest. I'll try take another look before the end of the day.

First entry done. A lot harder than I thought it would be.

126 players confirm it for me - there really are a hell of a lot of first-person shooters out there, and I could create two more puzzles from this round's incorrect submissions alone! I wonder which game in this round was the most guessed? One of the heavyweights of the shooter scene perhaps, so Halo, Doom, Quake or Half-Life? Nah, it's a newcomer that's not even ten years old. Scroll down and see for yourself which one it is.

Briefly on the bonus question - the background video is a really old Windows screensaver, called "3D Maze". 53% of you guessed that correctly too! There was no bonus point because some of the answers were a bit vague and I didn't want to be unfair.

And I just saw your avatar, I'm currently watching Enterprise for the first time - almost done with first season and liking it so far.

That was a good one, but as usual struggled with the second half.

You know all your points just add up through the year, right?

After the November quiz you'll get a year-end-summery high score for every individual user, and also a "forum vs forum" ranking. So you can never "ruin" a previous placement!


The lowest score was 1, so you would not have been last place! And you don't need to get the precise entry correct, with games like Kingdom Hearts, Fire Emblem or Ultima it's enough to name the series.


It's too late to see what excactly you entered, but you got points for #7, #9, #11, #12, #15 and #18. Maybe you answered something close to the real thing, and I was friendly and gave you the point regardless?
