My Facebook account got put on a warning this weekend. I rarely every post anything in it and mostly have it for messenger and Oculus but I saw a friend of 20 odd years was doing a 26 mile trek for charity and he posted a picture with his boots off. Anyway he had those freaky socks that go over each toe individually so I posted "you should be shot for wearing those socks" and I get a warning, which I appealed and got rejected again. Now over the years I have reported loads of blatant racism and homo/transphobic comments and all of them fall into their community standards apparently. Fuck Facebook Tldr: Facebook is shit My twitter account was suspended two weeks ago, I made what I thought was a clearly sarcastic point about 5g and magnetism in reply to some vaccine sceptics post. The appeal process seems to take at least a month for a result. How can I complain to deliveroo and comment on Masterchef now! Life ruined.

Sainsbury's to close all stores this boxing day as a thank you. Think it's just Tesco that have yet to do this? Never understood why people would go shopping boxing day?

It's caught me by surprise a few times when out for a walk/drive to see so many smaller shops open on Christmas day.

My Nan used to run a newsagent on an estate in the 80s and 90s, opened for a few hours on Xmas day to make a killing on booze, batteries, tin foil, gravy powder and such.

There’s plenty of convenience shops open on Christmas Day here, if you don’t celebrate Christmas then why not

Has there ever been an example of something being described as "it'll be over by Christmas" actually being over by Christmas?

I seem to have an insect bite on my forearm and it’s swelled up so much it looks like I’ve got a golf ball buried in my arm
Normal or Not Normal?

Well it's not perfectly round like a golf ball but it's about the same volume

Calling Piers Morgan a cunt didnt' get my twitter account suspended. I even got a warning before I posed that I was using offensive language.

My wife has a thing about watching Spanish (or more specifically, South American) telenovellas. Oooh, the drama. Lots of episodes. Her favourite was La Reina Del Flow, a sort of soap opera muy grande about murky goings on in the world of Reggaeton. Anyway, her latest one is called "Sin Tetas No Hay Paraíso", which is both absolutely true (from a certain point of view) and also, not the sort of title you'd see for a show in English.

I can see why Mrs Dogbot is allowed the telly whenever she wants Happy wife, happy life. Disappointing ratio of tetas per episode, so far, I'm afraid.

Mi Espanol es muy pobre para... ummm... enjoyment. Yeah, I kinda figure it could be worse. Although, she likes to fall asleep to murder mystery shows on ID, which took some getting used to... "His dismembered arm was found 300 metres away from his corpse..." mmm, sweet dreams, hun.
