Saw one in our garden last year and left some crushed up kibble and water out for him. No sign of it since, though.

I grew up in the countryside, but we didn't see them wandering around looking suave af very often. Used to enjoy the crisps though. Actually, maybe that's why we didn't see many around.

My dad once found one in front of his garage in the middle of Brussels, there was a park nearby though. Anyway he brought it home, and we released it a couple days later near some woods in the countryside.

We had quite the debate about what the best thing to do would be, eventually decided that he or she was going to get ran over if we put it in the park, seeing how it had the tendency to roam. I remember it was riddled with fleas though.

Hedgehogs are great but they're often absolutely riddled with fleas.
Something Sonic the Hedgehog totally ignored.

Just thought I'd that share that with you all.

Remember, no milk or bread, as I used to put out as a kid. Oh god why? How many hedgehogs did I murder through kindness as a kid..?

Don't know. I'm sure you'll be able to count how many are waiting for you at the gates of hell when the time comes.

Remember, no milk or bread, as I used to put out as a kid. Oh god why? How many hedgehogs did I murder through kindness as a kid..? Bread causes bloating and is poor in nutrition, leaving no "stomach room" for anything that's actually good. (Note that this is also true if fed to water birds: please don't!) As for milk, apparently hedgehogs are somewhat lactose-intolerant.

I just had an onion bhaji scotch egg. Honestly we should probably be wiped out as a species, this is too fucking far.

Just nailed almost half a tub of Carte D'Or Mint Choc Chip, put the spoon down and thought "ice cream is popular for a reason".
