Black was the most comforting FPS ever, I don't know why. I just enjoyed playing the same levels over and over.

Big clue time. It came out around the same time, and shares similarities with Hired Guns.
But it's not Hired Guns.
It reviewed very well and was praised particularly for it's huge open world.
